Are Pisces and Aquarius drawn to each other?

Is it just me or are Pisces for some reason drawn to Aquarius even though, astrologically, it's typically a terrible match? All of my male friends are Aquarius and nearly every guy I like or tries to swoon me ends up being Aquarius. Anyone else have similar patterns in dating? It seems anytime I find a guy I like he's an air sign. The airy detachment drives me nuts at times but I can deal with it considering how much personal space I need myself to be alone. When I've tried dating Cancers- supposedly match made in Heaven for Pisces - I feel suffocated.

Physically they are often very striking people, handsome men and beautiful women, and who doesn't like that?

But I'm with PVAF. Libras are the Air sign that usually have the strongest draw for us, that good old 6/8 magic at work. Though sometimes it's black magic. 😉

That must have sucked for the Libra, considering he had to endure you being obligated to fuck every man who liked your ass .... of course, the Libra was also getting sucked by every woman he fancied also.

Since, according to you, every woman from the UK is obligated to fuck every man at his bidding ... maybe you ladies over there should be required to walk around with a sign on your forehead, informing everyone how many std's you have, and which ones are currently under treatment.

I would save the men a lot of time having to zip and unzip his pants.

I agree with the Libra part. Just one in particular drivers me insane. She's so opinionated and tries to turn everything for her own gain and makes things seem like most of the fault isn't on her when something happens, and she also scrutinizes things under a microscope.. Like she is going to the forest to see the trees.. She easily misses big pictures. I could go on and on but Id rather not tarnish Libras' reputation. It's just ONE out of the many.

I think there is some kind of connection but a relationship between a pisces and Aqua is a no no for me. I was in a 2 year relationship with an aquarius some years back. We were great friends for 5 years before that. Match made in hell! How it even lasted that long is beyond me. He drove me nuts! My pisces ways drove him nuts too though. Since we were such good friends we thought the transition into a relationship would be a piece of cake..not! We realized we're better off as friends. Now a cancer on the other hand..right up my ally. I'm into that mushy gushy stuff :-)

Thanks for advice, P. Gentlemen here are not in a hurry, though. They also use buttons, rather than zips.

I have a couple good aquarian friends. I love them to bits, and we get along phenomenally.

Feeling nostalgic now.

Me: Do you remember this dress? I've worn it the first time we made love.
Aqua: Yes, I do. Forty five buttons. I'VE COUNTED THEM !

I love aquarians. : ) I find that many guys that come into my life are aquas. I've only been in a long term relationship with one, though. It seems gemini are also drawn to me, though I haven't found one yet that I think I could get along romantically with. All in all, for men, I do enjoy air signs as well as a few others like leo and scorps. I haven't been in a long term relationship with a cancer, but the ones that got close were a bad experience for me, unfortunately. I'm not sure what makes air signs so appealing to me as water is my main element.

Im a pisces. I seem to attract and be attracted to Aquarius men. Not saying its all good, definitely not bad either. They intrigue me and vice versa. Its definitely a learning experience. ....my best advice, is know yourself well enough to know if you can tolerate / accept their detached nature. Aquarius men usually become my most trusted and loyal friend. I'll take that over a dysfunctional relationship anyday.

From what i've seen here not really. But in real life, very truthfully, alot of pisces sun men have been around. I even married one. So i dunno, just depends on the aspects, but it's not common I guess.

Aquarius people are really only drawn to themselves. Ive dated two Aquarius females and both had zero feelings and needed to be stimulated mentally. Try them emotionally and they freeze up and start to rationalize what to do.

that's a sweeping generalization, if even that's true at all. Maybe just the ones you did meet.
for example, dont need "outside" external sources to keep myself entertained. I'd be super annoyed w/ people like that around me, which is why i choose very few around me at all. There's plenty of people under this sun sign that stimulate themselves w/out outside, external interference. Nothing against those types of people who do enjoy outside external stimulation.

Here's my take on Aquarius people vs Pisces people.
First, I love Pisces people. I love them so much, my Fiancee is one. My father, best friend & uncle are Pisces. I think they are emotional, understanding & challenging people. They may not be all that logical in certain situations/applications but that's what makes me love them more.
Aquarius:
Some of my great friends are Aquarians. Loyal, logical, sociable & intelligent people. The male Aquas tend to show more of an emotional side to them. They are also "know-it-alls" which is directly correlated with them being attention freaks...more so than Aries and Leos. Aqua females, well, I have a very, very difficult time understanding them. You may have taken offense to what i said before about being not feeling? Well, I also know how sensitive Aqua females are but they dont show it...they think it. I have 1 Aqua aunt and 1 Aqua 2nd cousin. Both of them have the usual, "cold, detached, unemotional, positive, talkative" type of traits. I love them regardless, i just dont find them all too appealing to be around. Maybe if i was another Air sign i would see how cool it is to act like that but im not.

Im not knocking Aquas, i just dont think they're anywhere long term fit for a Pisces. Then again, my coworker whom is a Scorpio is married to an Aquarius female. My cousin, Taurus, is married to an Aquarius female as well. So what do I know? 😉

I have learned to be more "shielded" and thick skinned. My husband actually helps me w/ that ALOT. I love the pisces people around me too, (my family members and my late grandma) so my personal experiences have always been positive. Even w/ my ex-husband. When i had met him, there was something instantaneously "karmic". It's hard to describe. I saw a beautiful glow/aura around him, as if he were fated for me at the time.

In a lot if ways aquas idealize relationships/romance *in their mind*. My ex Aqua thought we were soulmates like in that film "Somewhere in Time."--- a very aqua film which includes time travel which is also a very aqua musing.

So in his mind, he was Christopher Reeve and I was Jane Seymour. The only problem was that his mind fixated on this yet it never translated to emotional romanticism. It always stayed romance by proxy. And that gave him a great deal of pleasure. Me? Not so much. I kinda like feeling the romance not merely intellectualizing it via movie quotes.
Pisces on the other hand idealize romance as well. They create an atmosphere that at times makes you feel like you are living out a romance novel. Like those novels where the women reading them sigh and think why can't I find a man like that? Lol
This could make aqua feel uncomfortable because the actual feeling like a romance novel runs counter in some ways to thinking about the romantic elements and how they work. Two signs idealizing romance in two very different ways.

Anyone who puts "idealization" In a relationship is going to usually FAIL in a more grounded and serious marriage. They'll always find something WRONG w/ that person because it doesn't "fit" with the idealized version of what they dreamed of. They'll always be harping and carping over the flaws of the individual because they never accepted who they chose in the first place. Not something that is good for long term in my opinion. I dont particularly care for that type of idealization. Romance, I do, though. But personally that is something I like for myself internally. Sometimes, my husband does show romantic sides, but i can't explain...his proof of love is more than just showy nonsense. It's solid and beautiful, and to others, it probably isn't. Who cares. It's what you are happy with not what other people think/feel. Everyone's different.

By the way, there is nothing wrong with a healthy idealization. IMO. It's when the idealization is too perfect that you run into problems. Admiration is a cornerstone if a loving relationship.

well if you put it that way. That is true. I do admire my husband a HUGE amount. i may subconsciously put him on a pedastal. but i'm pretty grounded to not be overtly idealizing to not recognize flaws, which is in my opinion also part of his charm. flaws, pluses and all.

Ive been surrounded by Aquarius my whole life, friendships, as well as family members, and I do really like some of them but others, like I have mentioned before, I view as being very evil people.

There are two Aquarius guys that's been tryna get at me for the longest. But I won't give neither one of them a chance. I don't know why though. Their just not my type. Lol!

Thanks for including a disclaimer of this pertaining to one in particular... I thought Libra's are typically not inclined to share their opinions unless pushed. We are pretty indecisive despite planet/chart placement.

I never meet Aquarius men! 😢 I would be interested to...I think I'd enjoy the novelty. My brother is an Aquarius and the only Aquarius I've ever known. Definitely a fun, outgoing, unique individual. We always got along great and shared tons of fun and various interests...could talk for hours about anything.

I've never understood the draw to Libra men, but I attract Gemini's like it's nobody's business!
Gemini's tend to really like me, but being a Pisces dating a Gemini is always challenging...

Oh yeah.

On the grander scale? Probably not.

But the pisces in my life and the ones I've met have aqua placements that jive well with mine! And my fishy bits will piddle right along.

I am Aquarius and had a wonderful relationship with a Pisces man for two years. He is thoughtful and kind, best lover ever! however, we had trust issues, basically he lied to me on insignificant things, and when confronted never gave a valid reason, other than "he did stupid things sometimes". He wanted to move in with me and have a life together but I have reservations because the trust issue. When we finally settle things, and told him he COULD move in, he decided to go MIA and ended our relationship with no reason! I am devastated and don't know what to do. I believe we were made for each other but at this time I don't know anymore. He's actions speak volumes and is totally opposite of what he says... Perhaps I was not "lovey" enough for him but he never made any comments to indicate he was not happy... I think this is a big problem between both signs: one is too affectionate and needed and the other a bit too aloof. I still hope he will comeback though because I know we are perfect for each other: we balance each other out.

I am an aquarius in love with a pisces man and yes we've had difficulties in me showing, not thinking my feelings toward him, but in the last days I have showed him more love and appreciation but he decided to walk away without explanation nor reason, other than I "deserve better".. I don't want better, I want HIM and Im totally hurt by his mercurial actions: one day he says he loves me and wants to spend his life with me but at the same time, he would lie about trivial things and finally walked away... wtf?!
