Whose Guilty

Often times, I notice that people surround themselves with people who they believe are uglier, dumber - just overall inferiour to them in some way, so that they can feel better about themselves.

Does anyone do this? Not an easy assessment of ones self. So, I'm currently looking at myself to see. Are all my friends uglier than me? Dumber than me?

I may be a little guilty, but, not as bad as some.

And furthermore, do we do this with our lover? Do we try and unite with a person who is not attractive so that they will believe we are beautiful and not stray?

Actually, I am guilty of the opposite - I am a little guilty of surrounding myself with beautiful people - Kinda superficial sometimes which is a totally yuk attitude & I want to slap myself sometimes. The best friends I have thou are average - like me - Non pretentious & intelligent - I think the people you hang around are the ones that either help you grow or slow you down. I like my bestest buddies cause they pull me up & make me step up. As for the so-called 'pretty friends' I always have to watch my back with them & they are mostly just good to look at 🙂

Yeah, I'm know what you mean. I should have known that the Pisces board wouldn't have gotten such shallow people, lol. Good for us fishes. Maybe I should try this on a different board.

No...but then again I could also be considered a cold hearted bitch to people also.Friends come and go all the time and very few you know all your life so sees it that way.If they want to hang around for like minded reasons they're free to do so as well as go,it don't make no difference to me.I don't feel anything from friends unless maybe thier parent died or the like may feel sympathy in those types of situations.Complete and total hermitry is okay with me also with no effects.

but then what is considered beauty? why would I just date people that are the same beauty and intelligence as I just to not be considered superficial? I mean, isn't it the other way around... just dateing someone who fits some kind of mold, I'm not too judgemental.. I like what I like.. does this make sense?
