Are Pisces Generally Negative and Why
Pisces individuals are often sensitive and empathetic, which can sometimes lead to focusing on negative emotions. However, their traits vary widely and are influenced by personal experiences and environment. Not all Pisces are negative, but understanding their compassion and emotional depth can explain their sometimes somber outlook.
Uh no. But your post is a great generalization full of negativity, why are all crabs so crabby?

I have read up on pisces plenty and I am aware of their fantasy world. My friend is pisces sun, aries rising and scorpio moon.

I dont see them as negative 😕 I was going to say they are real also, but their reality might not be yours, reality is subjective.

Then you should know better.
Your friend is a realist or perhaps pessimist in your eyes because you two share different views. However if we strictly speak on the zodiac, you need to look at his Scorpio moon, not his sun.

Maybe it is just me but all of the pisces I know are extremely extremely negative and like to blame others for things they dont have. Is this a common trait for you pisces? I told one of my pisces friends that he was very negative and it makes it hard to hang around him and he said he wasn't negative that he was just being "real". any insight anyone?
No, we're not. But I call him a RUDE, CRUDE, DUDE. He's amongst the 2% of the Piscean population that he gives US TRUE Pisceans a bad reputation. Uh, it's also called being a spoiled brat! How we were raised also holds to the truth that that's how we grow up in the real world. He's use to doing that. I don't. I have a conscience.....he obviously doesn't. It also has to do with how he was raised.
We Pisceans are optimistic human beings. Again, he's amongst the 2% that gives us a bad rep for being TRUE Piscean.

It's most likely his Scorpio moon weighing him down. In addition, I find that men who a lot of water in their personal placements have a more difficult time than others.
How do they blame others for things they don't have...?!
Give me a few examples.
All the ones I know are very negative as well as gossipy
My Pisces friend, who I have known for more than 20 years, is not negative like that at all. She finds the good in things often, and she's realistic, not negative, about the downs of life.
She isn't a blamer. I have no tolerance for blamers so we wouldn't be friends if she was.

Not to reaffirm what you just said, but yeah, I'm a pessimist, and I don't know why. I have friends tell me all the time to stop being so negative and to stop making self deprecating jokes.
every pisces sun I know is extremely POSITIVE. (they mostly have really great lives, living/home life is peaceful and happiness all around)
my sister's best friend just had a baby (she's a pisces sun) and she was soooo excited to show us her new baby. it's amazing how happy she is. you can see the beam of happiness/glow in her cheeks and eyes.
even the guys are always so happy/ positive. always smiling.
If I find a negative fish, I usually tell them this:
The Pisces guy that insists on hanging around me is what I'd call negative.
I told him I was from Texas and he says something along the lines of "surprised you are from Texas, the people there are usually happy."
Just comments all day long. He says he has a Capricorn rising though, but I've noticed he is not like this with everyone.
First off, I would contend that its not that Pisceans are negative, but that their self esteem can sometimes get the.best of them. They absorb alot of emotional energy, I would also add that every Pisces is different, its important to take into account that rising signs are the proverbial '"facial" personality of any person. Me being a Capricorn, people wouldn't get that impression as my rising sign is Libra do I'm a bit of a social butterfly and charmer, very outspoken in speaking my mind like many air signs but frugal and analytical and always planning for the future aspiring for success as most Caps do. Also very much to myself, a natural worrier of the future and planner with a Moon sign of Virgo.
pisces aren't any more or less 'negative' than any other sign...we are, however, fairly easily influenced by our surroundings...perhaps you're just catching the aforementioned pisceans in a bad spot lol...
or, it could be anything really...
when it comes to pisces, who knows...?
in all honesty, you'll probably never really know the answer to your question...
