leos and love at first sight

have you ever seen the movie "Selena"? well selena was aries and her chris was leo...they fell in love instantly...that is one of the most romantic movies.....sigh! its also a true story

I don't know if this is a leo thing...but a leo male I know once told me he kind of approaches dating strategically.
He doesn't like to waste his time. And he won't pursue a woman unless he has a game plan to conquer. Haha.
So love at first sight...I don't know. Maybe more a strong determination to "have" you.

i concur,i may like you alot or feel passionate about you, but love is a whole different ball game..... its more like lust at 1st sight. Real love takes times to build and its needs a foundation to stand on to strengthen it along the way. Im to cautious/suspicious to just jump into something to quickly, sit back and enjoy the java when you can, whats the rush!

When i meet someone and they desire to move fast, i tell them to put on the brakes because if you keep this up my arse will be gone and you will never see me again. I dont like to be pushed into something that im not ready for, that sends *red flags* to my brain

For me if something moves along to fast, it will end just as fast. Take the time to really get to know one another, including thee ups and thee downs..

very well said. my thoughts exactly. i cannot tolerate pushy people, or fast talkers and for the very reasons you mentioned.

I have a aries female aquaintance, that i hang out with from time to time and she is all bs, she talks faster than her brain allows, when i question her on her bs...she looks at me like im crazy. I say answer the question, she gets defensive...now its fire on fire (aries/leo match)...lol!!

lol, i know an aries woman who talks too much and too fast also. and she is always hungry too. Not that that has anything to do with it, but her constant hungryness all the time just isnt normal to me. aries women are just all over the place, they start things and dont finish, including conversations, right on into their work ethic(just commenting on the ones i know). actually i kind of have a problem with people in general, time and time again, it seems that most seem to appear genuine, then somewhere down the line, you see their horns. they always have a motive, i note that you said aquaintance, tee hee, we think alot alike,
i have one friend that i have known since the 6th grade and a few aquaintances and thats it. i am a very nice person, but im also very antisocial, some people i can click with right away, that doesnt happen too often though.

So this leo guy who seemed to have fallen for me in a spun of few hours lol.. Or maybe in lust..

🙂 I could be blind..maybe he only wants to sleep with me..but 2 months, we hang out mostly with friends& havents slept together yet.

So here's the story:

He was introduced to me by a friend, my friends& his friends hang out that night.. Big group of people then one of his friends, the guy I met first that evening..was kinda marking his territory on me..talking to me all the time..then the leo...came and started talking..I noticed the leo immediately..I don't why he's not that cute..then I agreed with most of what the leo was saying..we just got along well..until the first guy kind of got the picture & dissapeared..lol..now its just me& leo& we talked all night, danced & just got each other...I heard leos & gemini gets each other immediately...so he got my number & contacted me right next day...we chatted for a while..joking like close friends & stuff...

After that day...I went out of town then he contacted me again wishing me to have a great time there..& a few days after that he went out of the country & texted me early morning ( this was when I was still out of town) told me that he's leaving & fon might now work there.. Wish we could hang out when he gets back...

When he got back contacted me told me he has this food from that country I should try..so that weekend we hang out with my friends...I called him & he came right away.. We hang out every weekend..sometimes just us, most of the time with our friends.. He would pay all my food&drinks, protect me,,text all the time..he demands I hold his hand in public..& text me poems& sweet thigns all the time..
We haven't kissed or had sex.. Im more conservative & im trying to keep things friendly& not too soon as my libra man..I've learned to sloooowww down...so this new leo fast track trait suprises me...

He always indicate sex though...with his text...ask what's my fantasy..& stuff..but also text me during the day and wants to hang out.. One night he texted " wil u marry me? I took it as a joke ..we just me& don't know each other..im confused..

Im wondering when u tell a leo to slow down & keep things friendly will they take it as a sort of break up& hurt their pride or just go with the game..or be honest & upfront about how u feel...as I want to be freinds fisrt& get to know him better before anything else can happen.. 🙂

leo & gem's get each other pretty fast,but Leo tends to fall in love
alot faster than us Gem's do! They are fantastic people for us if
we remember they have big hearts & love people in their lives

This is so true, we are natural born directors and we feel the urge to direct our own destiny. We don't really trust faith. But I don't see what this has to do with love at first sight. I do fall easily, often it's at first sight, then I pick myself up and try to figure out a strategy to approcah that special one. From then on it's like an episode of MacGyver.

yeah, i seriously doubt it's "love". lust, infatuation, passion, whatever but rarely ever love. i'm the same way. i easily "fall" for ppl but it takes me quite a while to fall in love. it's true that i can love a person right away but it's not a romantic love.

eh. it doesn't seem like a very leo thing to do.

nah, i'm sure he'll appreciate the direct honesty. that's a very valuable and honorable trait in our eyes. however, he's also made it pretty clear to u that he'd like to get down for some sexy time and if u keep him waiting too long he WILL find it elsewhere. we are patient up to a point. we're not unreasonable. for me, if we haven't made out within 1-2 months time i will move on. i can hold off on sex for longer but i need something to keep me going and look forward to. so if not even a kiss i will assume i am put in "the friend zone" and take my business elsewhere. doesn't mean i will have given up hope completely but i just don't like to waste my time. that's why i am so appreciative for anyone who can muster up the courage to tell me like it is and where i stand with them. i will have so much more respect for u. it may even be enough to persuade me to wait around a little longer.
