tbh I think in relationships you normally have elements of all.

See and that is where this question came from.

You say "normally" but often people talk about how people stay in a "crazy" relationship where you know it's crazy, but they are probably doing some crazy things in the bedroom as well (passionate?) so they stay...

And I also have observed relationships that seem to be more stable/calm, but don't seem to have that "passionate about each other" factor. They just act like best friends, but you don't see them kiss, or hug, or really want each other. (Not just around a bunch a people because some don't like PDA, but when they speak of the other they don't seem to be passionate towards each other.)

So I wouldn't say normally it's all. Just as some have said here, they were in stable relationships, but it wasn't passionate. Or some would rather have calm and stable. Of course I would want it all. Lol But which do most get vs. the one they desire, and how long does it last? Those are the main questions for me. I feel as though many do have different needs, which is why so many relationships don't work out. Someone's needs aren't being met.

I think of it like this:

That you have all the elements you listed at different points during a relationship.

Normally at the beginning, it's new, passionate, adventurious.

Some stay turbulent, but others simmer down and it becomes a comfortable, stable and calm relationship. Still, not without its moments of passion and adventures.

I also look at it in another way too - relationships are normally full of different phases whether it be within a short period of time or long and i think usually within them phases, you get all the different factors you mentioned. In regards to what you've observed, a lot can happen behind closed doors in relationships.

And then there's my past where it was stable and calm, then passionate, but overly turbulent, without passion..if that makes sense lol

I would love a stable relationship where we feel passion for each other, but it's calm and adventurous because we are so stable and feel loved. I don't think that's too much to ask? Haha

But you're definitely right.. What happenes behind closed doors can be so different.

Adventurous.

I like to travel, go out and explore new horizons with a partner. Keeps the relationship fun and alive. I can deal with routine but I still need something to look forward to. I also like mental stimulation just as much as passion.

My little sis is an Aries. I think this would be very close to her exact answer.

I choose stable. Passion can wax and wane. Calm does sound boring, ? though I bet my husband would choose that because his ex gf before me was a minefield. ?

A stable one

A passionate one

A calm one



Aries sun/Venus and Cancer Mars

I think I take for granted that people in relationships have passion between them.. Why would anyone be in a romantic relationship with someone they don't feel passion for? Passion is a given for me. I wouldn't even bother talking to a potential other who didn't spark something deep inside me.

My Sag and I love to travel.. Love to just get up and go.. Or plan an exciting trip. In the past I have been with a guy who you couldn't convince to leave his state without a longggggg discussion.. He was stable (for a long time) ...but NOT adventurous.

Now I ask and it happens, almost immediately. That's why I included adventurous. I didn't mean orgies. ?

Ahh.. Ok. I think of "adventurous" as an individual personality trait. Never thought to describe a relationship that way but that makes sense!
