The Stylin', profilin', limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' n' dealin' son of a gun—

Oh you mean......rite, sorry.
Yeah it sucks, I tend to avoid it at all costs. It's the reason I ended my relationship with the former love of my life. Turned out he had a son from a previous relationship with a woman, and they were coming back into his life in a major way.
It don't feel good.

Sorry to hear. But it is unavoidable when you don't choose to be it.

I didn't have an issue with the kid himself, I would've gladly stepped in as his second dad. It's more the chemistry my guy still had with his ex (he was bi). It was undeniable. And I figured the kid deserved a chance to have his parents together finally.

It's nice that you put the kid first.
I wouldn't say it's awkward if you're comfortable with your status and if it's a group of people you know. I would find it awkward if you thought you're 5th wheeling only for your friends to set you up with another 3rd wheeler.

Does it make you confortable, uncomfortable, or has it become second nature?
And vice versa for those in relationships, do you feel awkward inviting your single friends?
I have no problem tagging along with my friend and her fiancée. It's like hanging with a brother and sister for me.
I've also realized in my friend's upcoming wedding, I am the only singleton from both the bridesmaids and groomsmen parties.
Better focus on catching that bouquet.
