Compared to my Cap step dad, I find the relationship of my mum and real dad to be not as good as my scorp mum and cap dad’s. It was like putting two intense people in a small room and all they did was argue about who is right or wrong. Cap dad gives way. Not highly emotional too so my mum, she can be emotional and my cap dad would not blink an eye and just listen and understand. My best relationship yet has been with my cap. We’ve been together 10 years. We have our problems (he previously cheated on me and I left..) we have a son together so after several months we tried therapy and I eventually came back.
We are currently working on repairing our relationship and things have been good for the last year or so. Aside from the past infidelity, we’re a good pairing we balance each other out, both home bodies, both are hard working and careful with money, both have common interests and we rarely argue.
