12 years on DXP this month...how did you wind up on DXP?

November of 2005, a young 22-year old BoomBoom (formerly known as Shaka, Shakareloaded, Shakarerereloaded and Shakalakaboom) enters the building while googling "how to seduce a scorpio woman?"

Now 12 years later I got myself a Libra/Scorpio cuspian soon-to-be-wife.

Close enough, right?

After high school I really got into astrology. Reading stuff about sun signs of course. Then I wanted a bit more. Like a community or actual people chatting about astrology rather then random description pages. I wanted people I could relate with. Then I found Yahoo answers horoscope section. It was pretty awesome at first, and I seen people taking about rising signs, moon signs, and I loved it. I loved the fact astrology was so much deeper then I thought, which then I learned about birth charts. After that Yahoo answers got old. The amount of people who would rage about how they felt astrology was fake on top of answers not being instant got stale. I wanted something faster paced. Like a chat room or something. Eventually I found dxpnet. Likely just researching Google for astrology forums and chat rooms. I seen this lively community of people chatting about deep astrology plus 100 other things. I lurked for a bit, kind of timid to join in. Eventually I couldn't take it anymore and made my first account. Darkfire.

I had a tough time syncing in at first. I tend to adapt to my surrounds and between CC, Dj, and a guy called Denver dxpnet was toxic like it always is. I came in kind of influenced by them, but over time adapted in my own ways. I deleted Darkfire and made Soul. 4 years later here I am lol. Love me, hate me, it doesn't matter. I'll still be here tomorrow doing the same thing. Till death do I part.

I was googling something about my sign, dxp came up .. I wanted to comment on ppls questions so I signed up.. i came on here in April ‘16.. I’ve been into astrology since middle school

Been here too long, but not as long as some others *sideeyes* you crazy fookers.

Oh what brought me here: to learn more about astrology, have been doing charts since I was a teenager but wanted to learn more than what I found in books. Been stuck in the black hole cesspool ever since.
