But not enough to make a dent in that 70% (the stat of Black women who are single). I have stated this earlier in the thread. Black women are programmed the same way??_.stand by and wait for your good Black man.

Also, in Los Angeles it is a tad segregated. Also, I am not necesarily opposed to the idea. I have never really been approached by a non Black man, who I was attracted to. But who knows what the future holds.

Lol I have yet to really wrap my head around it all. I am Christian. Some of the traditions that they practice I already adhere to, others not so much . Lol. Some of their "traditions" I do not understand how they relate to becoming closer to God. But like you said, that is a WHOLE other issue altogether. He has been hinting around me crossing over. FWIW: I don't see any short-term improvement in the situation for black women, and it doesn't look good for the long-term, either.

The wife of one of my friends (the Taurus + Taurus couple) is a veteran teacher in the local city school system. She says that the black students actually discourage each other from learning. The ones who try to be good students are "acting white" according to their peers, and there's a lot of pressure put on them to under-perform -- except in sports...

Like in many schools. The"nerds" arent the highest on the social totem pole. "Acting white" is supposed to be an insult, more so to say that you think your better than everyone else. If you have a strong character and solid foundation at home, things like that [like any insult] will get to you but won't hamper your education.

@natural25, I never have been to the one in Costa Mesa. My favorite one is in Manhattan Beach, but there have been some times when I've been down in the Newport Beach/Laguna area and have gone to that one, which is also cool.
Now, how in the world are you both a Steelers fan AND a Eagles fan. I've been to games at both of those stadiums when they played one another, and trust me, there is NO LOVE LOST between their fan base! LOL, but I can't talk, because I have loved the Cowbowys since I was a little girl, and the Broncos were/are my team because I am from Colorado - although, I did like the three Amigos 🙂.

This country was brainwashed to hate black, to believe that black is bad, ugly, stupid, worthless, etc. As a result of that, there's ALOT of self hate embedded within the black community. This is why the black community doesn't band together -- the spirit of hate is in the soil of the ground they walk on. i think it was within the last year but....there was a movie about interracial dating on and i would have passed it over but it was with a black women and a white man which i had never seen a modern love story with that combination so i watched it. it was pretty good, the white guy was a landscaper and she was an accountant or something....she was the one turning her nose up at him at first....he was a lowly dirty gardener.

^^word, I think swagger is a confidence/borderline arrogance/smell/dress, etc. Some guys I've met that have crazy swagger are some Asian gentleman - I'm tall, so they aren't typically my type just because of the height issues, lol, but I've met some that had that "Je ne sais quoi!" that made me go dayumn!
I love Italian American men, and a host of other European men that have a lot of swagger! I think it's because I am typically drawn to a lot of larger than life men who are kind of the strong silent type (some NOT so silent!).

Thinking lack of accountability and sense of entitlement are specific to black women is crazy insane.

In my humble experiences, the "swagger" that works for me is just plain old Confidence and Charm. Pretty strong tools to transcend any preconceived racial notions 🙂

Yes, you are opening up a big can of worms. Lol. But, honestly, I am happy that Vick found a place to rest his head. Yes, what he did was horrific. Terrible, without an excuse. However, he did his time and paid the price. I do not think that it is fair to expect for the man not to work ever again. The notion is ridiculous. That is like saying that if someone goes to jail for a DUI or stealing they should not be able to work again in their lifetime upon their sentence completion. I dont buy it.

Black Women always bitch and complain about not finding a "good" black man. But they can't even define what a "good" black man is themselves. When they find one that is "worthy", they fuck over him or treat him like shit 90% of the time. I don't get this about black women @ all. Just like I don't understand why most of the black women I know are having these kids by different fathers and shit. My guess is that they keep having them until they have one by the right man that will support them. Stupid way to go about it.

-Most Black Women wont suck dick. (that shit is fucking annoying. why am I winning and dinning your ass if you won't do that BASIC thing? There is a girl around the corner that will probably suck & swallow, then cook me a nice meal afterwards) And if you do get a black girl to to this, expect an attitude afterwards..

-They have this sense of entitlement. (like " you better be lucky you're with me.... " or "I don't owe you that $ 1000 I borrowed, I think I payed you in bed last night" ...... NEGATIVE!)

-They have bad attitudes (generally speaking).

-They don't know how to play their position. (Let a Man be fucking MAN, learn how to play the background in a relationship sometimes).

-They are always looking for a "thug nigga" and only look for these "good black men" when they are older and have been used and abused.

-or they wait until they have so many kids that there only option is to get a good man

-They are usually full of drama.

-Etc...





Before all the black women in here respond, let me say this.

I LOVE black women, and I usually only date black women. Not because I don't like other races, but black women do it for me. There are plenty of positives to dating black women also, But... this is just what I don't like.
