Statistics: how many weeks to move on?
You cannot control their actions, you can only control your own actions. So what if they keep calling you? block them on all platforms, delete their contact, if need be change your number. The more you try to sweat it, the harder it will be for you to forget. No need to count the days, just distract yourself - with work, hobbies, even netflix etc

Every time they contact you the day count resets to zero.

It took me two years to be a normal human again.
They say it takes half the time you were together to really get over it. Sure you start to adjust within a few weeks but youre still feeling it.
I have to go out of site out of mind, I cannot keep talking with someone I need to get over, I wont get over it.
I was over mu last ex rather quickly because we were already checked out of the relationship before the break up. Took a few months to put my home life back together as we lived together. I redid everything and cleaned him out! LOL

This guy it was going on 3yrs so right now I want him back like an idiot but he's trash well that's what everyone says ...he made s couple bad choices so I had to kick him out but deep down he's this fragile sensitive kind hearted man that makes the dumbest choices ever

The only one that took me a long treetrunking time getting over him was a Sag sun/ Aries moon. I swear if I wasn't strong enough, I would have gotten myself in an asylum.

depends on all sorts of factors - length of relationship, nature of the chemistry we shared...every one is different though and I think I recover more quickly as I get older....first love as an adult took me about 5 yrs, whereas I felt almost completely moved on from a failed marriage after just 6 mos.
there are some connections I will never get over, and I don't see the need to...they will haunt me forever and I"m fine with it....I feel like I carry them with me, can conjure them any time I want to and tap into the memories - by listening to a song that reminds me when I take a long car ride, remembering a potent exchange we had (can play the same ones over and it never gets old), etc. With two in particular the emotional bond was so strong I can just picture their eyes, and almost every time my own well up with tears...not sadness or joy, just the raw feeling of that bond is still there...

Aqua and I have been on/off for 18 months. We’ve been into one another for almost 3 years. We have spilled onto one another’s lives and minds in a way no other person has.
He ended it with me officially yesterday. In desperation I starting using Tapping Therapy last night. It’s the fourth time we’ve ended our relationship and we see one another daily so NC isn’t realistic.

I swear it’s the tapping therapy. Last time we ended things I had panic attacks from the grief.
It’s been a day and I’m actually happy. I feel okay. I’m not holding on. I did this yesterday until I calmed, them had excellent sleep. I did it today theee times
