Exercise together... I can't date anyone that does not enjoy going to the gym
I am GUILTY, too! Being involved in relationship has also had me gain weight! I started using the stationery bike, watching what I eat, AND I'm totally staying way from the office chocolates. Bad Eva, bad, bad, bad!
Love,
Eva

I haven't had to combat it, since I have a fast metabolism ❤
Not to burst your bubble, but I did too at your age. Could eat whatever I wanted and never gained weight. Then 30 comes around, and well...
I walk the dog. But yeah I get comfortable. Its added 7lbs to us, but we're maintaining. Its just diet and dog walking, I get the dog in the morning, he walks Marcus at night, I cook non processed, low carb food (Tacos using Lettuce Cups). But before all my guy ate was toast, cabbage soup, and a chicken breast with steamed veggies. Everyday. For months. Like a bachelor.
We're both pretty active people. The problem is right now our schedule don't match up. He has weekends off, I work weekends.
After our long work days, when he comes over, we end up eating diner and having a drink before bed. And on the weekends he makes me breakfast before I head into work. Our whole relationship revolves around food lmao
I've traded swimming during work week nights for kicking it with him.
He loves the added weight and keeps telling me that thicker is better.
But I like my body more fit.

Summer comes early here, in another month the beaches are gonna be flooded with people.

omg tell me about it. lol
some women have higher metabolism even after 30 though.
in my 20s i was at 47 kilos all the time, skinny as hell!!!
but i like the weight gain.
Weight gain in relationships can also come from stress, yes I've seen some women let themselves go when they get in a relationship they get fat yes guys lets themselves go as well. The ones that have gotten fat are relationships were its toxic and stress involved the second is where both partners have settled I wouldn't say they are happy in the relationship but they are together.
@Op - I am a foodie and I had reached up to 160 and I am 5'7:3/4 and that was overweight according to my bmi.
I cooked three meals a day with my ex so double portions and then after all that I moved away and went to my mom's house and once again 3 meals a day without exercise...I took a selfish pic and I looked 6 months pregnant and wasn't I vowed after to loose weight with my brother.
We both started chick and fish diets and that was cool. I did Taebo video tapes, Denise Austin, and Jillian Michael video work outs at home, and I don't go to the gym.
So I used nintendo W I I for exercise games, hulu hoop....I got Gold Gyms Cardiovascular fitness which is boxing. So probably all I did to loose weight with the videos, games, and walking in a year with 3 times a week at least make me loose 30 lbs and shrunk my stomach so I no longer eat everything, I eat once or twice a day with snacks all night long.
Good luck and keep at it. Because while trying different things to loose weight the videos or signing up for the gym was my only options along with cutting calories. So I am still at least staying around 140-155 if I see myself eating more I'll have to start again. But then I don't want to look skinny either.
You're not fucking enough if you're gaining weight, duh.

There was a guy I was with who was working on slimming down and the like. It was pretty late when we were done. He kind of chuckled and asked, "does that count as exercise? Because I don't want to get up in the morning to work out."
I reassured him it actually did.
...it doesn't burn a significant number of calories, but it counts haha.

do all the work and don't eat after you have sex at night.
That's usually when you're the most hungry 😉
you should do it until you have no energy to put a burger in your mouth. legs gonna give out... *falls*

Hmm I dunno. We do have a lengthy cardio workout in bed. But what happens is my husband dozes off easily, I'm all sexed out and tired but hungry... and cannot sleep ... so I go rummage through the fridge :/
My weight gain though is mostly post-partum. I've got a bit of tummy now that I cannot seem to get rid off and my boobs are bigger. My husband loves them though, the tummy and bigger boobs.
I have definitely started to eat out more since I've met my BF because he enjoys giving me new experiences. We order two different entrees and go halfsies for a more varied and exciting food adventure. For Valentine's, we cooked and baked together after going to the whole foods store for groceries. We're definitely a foodie couple. I hum and close my eyes when I'm enjoying my food.
I think the biggest danger of weight gain is eating out, as opposed to cooking in.
However, I am much too active, and not getting in my weekly fitness routines and dance will affect me for sure, mentally and emotionally. The BF and I have been jogging, and we will play tennis once it gets a bit warmer. I need to channel my energy and express myself physically and sentiently. I'm 5'7 1/2" and anything above 126lbs feels too heavy for me (I'm currently 125lbs.)
If anything, I feel more motivated to be physically active and healthy now that I am part of a couple.

Thsts true for me as well. My friends and I say if a girl loses a lot of weight she's either broke up from bf or having an affair. Fake tan usually means it's an affair - lol

As in 15lbs.
I'm gaining weight and it's easy to see why as our main activities together are eating, drinking, and fucking.
How have you combated weight gain when your in relationships?
Or do you just say fuck it and get nice and comfortable...
