Scams are pretty easily avoidable with some basic common sense. It will get a lot worse as ai advances though

Which energies that are messy with money…. People with traits of being materially motivated. People who are bad with money obsess over material possessions, generally. The same people going far into debt over stupid shit they don’t need

Depends on what the scam was. There's a lot of phishing scams where they try to convince you to give up information so they can get into your account. Or they send you an e-mail to a fake site that looks very close to one you frequent. Most of it should be common sense but I can see how someone could panic and not think clearly in the moment. Maybe the energy of signs that are overly trusting.

Depends of the scam. Would I have fallen for it, or not? This would be my first thought. In the past (over 10 years ago) I had money taken fraudulently from my card, but I always got them back.

Yes, I would judge, because if I got too close to naive, careless or stupid people, ultimately it will drain on my finances. This includes reckless people prone to get-rich-quick, gambling-type of "investments"...far better opportunities out there.

and a family member/SO/friend got scammed out of a lot of money? Would it affect your trust in them?

Like sure you'd still love and support them but would that affect the level of trust you have for them when it comes to decision-making?

And what sign energies would be very messy with finances?

I am still LMAO at What if you woke up...and a family member/SO/friend got scammed out of a lot of money?

Guys, the OP is a Virgo.

Virgo women are fucking judgemental!

I say...and trust me - men VIRGOs are no less judgmental.

And it is driving me crazy!

However back to the OP...Why would I give a damn IF anybody got scammed?

People are stupid! They use Wish and Temu...where $ 1000 dress sold for .99 and crying that it wasn't 'as pictured'...and then some shhhhhhiiiiiit...

As opposed to still being asleep? 😂

idk just felt weird to ask: 'what if you were asleep- maybe I should have asked what if you learned/found out?'

Am I reading it wrong? Why would you judge? It is another person who was scammed...would you judge THEM or whom?

I think my first reaction would be shock, panic and immediately come into fix-it mode where I’d want to know what happened to see if there is a way to get it back 😥!!

Thankfully, no one in my immediate family has ever been scammed 🙏. But my uncle almost got scammed because someone called him saying I had been robbed in a foreign country and needed money wired and it was while I was traveling!! So he ALMOST fell for it, but decided to call me to confirm before he actually wired the money… thank goodness!! I don’t blame that on his sun sign but more on his age/ generation.

I have another friend that gets swindled, robbed by friends/ business partners/ his children - A LOT. He attracts SHADY friends and I have warned him of a few already where I was right on the money with their intentions🤨. With him I feel sad and a bit protective… because with his kids, he wants to PLEASE… and with business partners, he is quick to believe the “big, grandeur of their stories” and doesn’t question. So, yeah at the end of the day, I do question his ability to protect himself… when it comes to money. He is a Leo Sun & Moon.

Leo energy can lowkey be the most bleeding-heart, naive, hopeless romantics. Before you mentioned his sign im like "this screams leo". I just had a Leo customer 2 nights ago swear he was an empath, that he knew on sight that he could trust me and started spilling his guts during our private dance about his ESP lmao.

Kinda in the same realm...

Had advised a family member for years on what to do with a property. They ignored me because MISOGYNEY (ingrained and I love them, but still... I'm not a man so what do I know). But when a random dude (at the gym) gave them the same advice they went for it.

I stopped gifting them money (I don't lend I gift, lesson learned the hard way) because it left a bad taste in my mouth.

To piggyback on that, (edit to say this is a differnt unrelated situation as the above) I have been trying to get my brothers to agree to rent out my father's home in order to help pay for his care. Out of the 3 of us, I am a home owner, have both long term and short term rentals, work with management companies and have access to great contractors/handy persons. We are all executors of the estate, so I need their approval to move forward. Father is in a really excellent care home (single family home, his own bedroom bathroom living room, 1 24hr nurse per 3 patients who live there). But its pricey. Like 10K per month after health insurance pricey.

It's been a struggle but they finally agreed to let me move forward on this earlier this month. Home has been sitting empty for over a year and, even worse, costing money each month for property tax/insurance/and maintenance (gardener plus some utilities). Now we will be netting 4K minimum per month, and that will make a significant difference in paying for his care covering around 40% which will allow his funds to stretch and him to have another 5-7years left with this excellent care before we need to sell the house.

I had to explain to them that the best thing for us is to try to keep the home as it is in a trust so no transfer taxes, we can each make around 9-10k each year and always sell in the future if that's the consensus.

You must have a lot of experiences with Leo’s to have such a quick read on them.

I know a few other Leo’s and they are not like him in the sense of constantly getting scammed, but similar in that they are VERY giving, love to please, spend without limit, and always making an event the most fun possible.

But inviting shady people all the time… makes me feel super protective of him. I don’t like how that makes me feel and I don’t like that he falls into the same traps all the time. Fixed sign issues can be exhausting at times. We are so stubborn to change…lol
