Talkin to an aries and not rushing..what?

Of all the guys I could have not rushed with I would have never guessed an aries. I tend to dive in and usually get physical way too soon. But with this guy we've barely started flirting. The conversations are endless and we text all day and hang out. There's no denying he likes me. Is this an aries/sag relationship thing? Or did I just find an interesting aries who obviously respects a girl enough not to come on too strong?

Sags, your experiences with aries in dating or relationships?

He's a sun, moon, mercury, venus btw. He's definitely chasing me, but not coming on strong like most guys. Very refined and quite the gentleman.

It's funny thinking of them as being gentle. I know of a lot of aries who are loud and crude, but I also know of some who are rather reserved and very focused in what they like to do.

I was talking to him tonight and I couldn't believe how insightful he was. He is also one of the funniest people I've ever met. He seriously had me laughing till my sides hurt

I will agree. They do have that arrogance about them. I think that's one of the things they have to work through as they grow. This one seems to have tamed his arrogance quite a bit. While he does talk a lot it's stuff I actually want to listen to, and he takes the time to listen to others.

It's the ones who won't listen and think they have all the answers who I just roll my eyes at.

Same! they are funny guys. Well I don't mean gentle but they aren't gonna like pretend to be something they aren't. That is what I find with them.

i think its case of him and you liking each other and him having enough respect for you not to do anything to you. This is similar to the situation I am in with a friend. We both like each other and get along well, then i get cranky at him for rooting around on me even though we arent in a relationship so makes me wonder if he does even like me or just sees me as a friend and this post yeh makes me thinks yeh probably respects me too much to do anything about it. never thought of it that way before.

I kid... But really, I think Aries tends to look best on it's men. They're upbeat and energetic, yet laid-back and tolerant. Most of the Aries guys I know, I'm cool peoples with.

I like this. I definitely feel like after I got into the whole sexual bit with my leo all those yrs ago it rly set off this trend where I felt like I should get into the sexual aspect asap to see what he was all about in that area. Now I really don't care. I just want a really caring guy who will be a gentleman, has the same tastes, and will be affectionate to me.

So far we've only made it to a side-hug (I feel like a school girl) but I've been so shy and basically just feeling out where he wants to with this. I'm the one who initiated the hug and he seemed to like it. He actually initiated this time 🙂

I know it's weird he's laid back with that aries moon of his. I'd say he's more so able to have a good time then just straight up laid back. He likes to laugh a lot (heck yes) but he does get things done and is very successful in what he likes to do. Great combo

on-topic: i'm a female Aries and had a Sag bf for a long time, so I can confirm it's a great combo 🙂 however, we DID rush into it, and at times it was cause for drama. you want to be careful there, as both Aries and Sags are sort of drama-queens...
as far as this particular relationship is concerned... well, in my one experience with an Aries man, I learned that they not only LOVE the chase, it's also their biggest turn-on at the beginning of a relationship. Conversely, a woman who gives in to their advances too quickly tends to make them lose interest. Your guy might be one of the rare ones who is actually aware of this so he is taking his time to avoid falling in that trap. I know for a fact that's exactly what I'm trying to do with a Sag guy I really like... trying NOT to rush into getting physical with him, much as I am tempted (and believe me, i am HUGELY tempted!), because I might get bored of him quickly if I do!

I started watching the series (never read the books) then got bored of it. Why do you ask?

Haha wow, this stuff all fits in with how this aries is acting. Definitely giving him that chase. We spent the whole night talking and got into tickling, so we are progressing, but very slowly. He's a psych major like me so he is very aware of the things he does. I'm not worried he will lose interest as we have some many things in common, that it's not just the fact that we like each other that keeps us both interested. There's more to it...there's a friendship developing. And something more as well 🙂 Thanks for sharing your story about you and your sag. I have always found aries to be a turn on with their aura of power emanating from them, but I had never met one I felt was really worth my time until now. You're right, this could be the start of something beautiful.

Hey Kits, hope you're well!!

I don't know if this counts but my ex was a Aries/Taurus cusper. He was and is an amazing guy! We became friends at work. He made me laugh like no other. We formed a really great bond. At this point I think he thought I fancied him but I didn't. We went out one night and he 'claimed' me, HA! It was real cute. We slept with each other and I really thought 'FUCK I've slept with my colleague' HA! Then I had to re-evaluate IF I even fancied him (bad I know) I decided I must have if I slept with him. Anyway so that following week at work he asks me if I wanted to hang out and I was thinking 'WTF, does he think we're gonna fuck again'. LOL! But you know what, he was such a gent. He invited me over to his place and cooked me a meal and we watched telly while I sat on his lap and he never even tried it or on or anything. Such a sweetie!

We didn't sleep together for another month after, he never pushed it or pressured me, it just happened naturally, it was lovely. I then fell in love with him, he told me he wasn't ready to have a relationship even though he had confessed his undying love to me, HA! Typical man got scared about losing his freedom! Anyway we finally got together (his hand was forced) months down the line. He changed me for the better, made me more positive. He's one of the best things that's ever happened to me and he is still in my life as a dear friend and probably will be until I meet someone who isn't OK with that. I wont jepordize my future just to hold onto my past and I'm sure he will do the same which is understandable. We have ALOTof mutal friends so when that happens it will not be easy for my new beau or his.

Thanks for sharing SagChick 🙂 I feel like a lot of what you shared is very similar to how this aries is. He's been a gent so far. We still haven't done anything, not even kissing. But last night I stayed over at his place because we were playing this game we love together. Like literally playing the same character together lol. Anywho, he hadn't made a move to get affectionate recently except to tickle me, but last night he put his arm around me and was rubbing my arm and leg. I was so tired from not sleeping since 2 days ago that I started to fall asleep on him and we ended up laying down together on the couch. He never tried anything...perfect gentleman. Everything up until this point has happened when it feels right and our conversations and the way we just get each others humor is what keeps bringing us together and hanging out for hours on end.

Well.............we spent the best part of 6 years together, he got too complacent and we just started to drift apart as a 'couple' but we always had an understanding. I just know that they'd always be a danger of us being JUST friends cause we just got each other so much. We had an amazing understanding, mutual respect and honesty but then he began to change. I think he wanted out but never told me for his selfish reasons cause I was the perfect little wifey. He began lying and just acting like a reckless fool. I suspected he cheated on a couple of occasions. I just had this sick gut feeling, he has never admitted it till this day but I just KNOW (I won't go into details).

I ended it with him, it was all very amicable. I still see him till this day and we have remained as close friends as we always were to begin with 🙂

I think it will be hard for him to see me with somebody else when I do eventually get into a relationship. He still thinks we could have a chance but I am done. I just couldn't trust him and without that you're pretty much fucked. I'm sure he will make another woman very happy one day.

P.S. He wasn't very forthcoming about 'feelings' apart from the first time he told me he loved me (when he fell in love with me) Aside from that I could count how many times he ever said it, lol! Maybe that's due to his Scorp rising?

Yeah Aries and Sags just 'get' each other I feel (with the exception of my dear mother). I have a female Aries friend and she has my humour down to a tee. Like she understands why I act the way I do and can sometimes even read my thoughts, HA! We have a unique bond I love it!

Although saying that my mother is an Aries and we bump heads like big time. Maybe cause I've always lived out and now adjusting to her cranky ways is just too unbearable for me? lmao! I think we are too alike which could be our downfall, lol! Ah well she is evolving and gaining a higher consciousness so things have been getting much much easier for me 🙂
