How much alone time do you need and do you find too much time with others draining at all?

I need a lot. Spending too much time with others is very draining to me for sure. I don't like living with people. I have lived alone for most of my adult life, gladly. I have cats now, and I don't mind living with them, but even with them I like to have some time apart, but that's easily managed because cats sleep so much and are usually fairly independent by nature so they like time to do their own thing too.
I enjoyed being alone a lot when I was a kid too. I played with my sister and friends regularly, but I also spent many hours drawing and playing games that I invented by myself. I'll always remember the wonderful freedom I felt when I learned to ride a bike. I learned later than some kids (I was ~ 10) and after I mastered it, I would ride through the neighbourhood with some of my allowance in a container around my neck. I'd go to a local ice-cream parlour and order a sundae and eat it by myself happily.
Unlike many people I don't mind eating alone or going to cinema alone. My mother and bro think it's a bit abnormal lol.
I go out for coffee or ice cream all by myself! And enjoy it too !
Yes! Some people rarely or never do things like that alone, and I think that they are missing out. It can be nice to not have to be in agreement with another person about what to do or see -- just go and do what we most want to.
I have been described as loner at times but I don't agree with it, I'm very social and very talkative but when I want to.
I like solitude to recharge to reflect.
Everyone has different ways of doing it.
I can travel alone too, I have done it so many times. Thinking to go to the US this Xmas!

Yes. I don't qualify as a loner either. Some people don't understand that being this way isn't the same as being anti-social!
One of my friends, who is married with kids, is this way too. She sometimes travels on her own but she is very involved with her family life, she isn't neglectful, she just needs that time to herself sometimes.

I haven't had my best romantic relationship yet, I'm pretty sure, lol! I'm not saying I haven't had some good ones, though. In terms of best people I have been involved with, it's a Sag with Cap moon, Virgo rising, Scorpio Mercury, Libra Venus and Aqua Mars man. We were together for 9 years. Eventually after the breakup, we were able to be good friends. Our relationship started as a friendship so it was great to be able to return to that. I'm very happy about that.
