Naw, nothing is a definitive guide, but with astrology, there is a general consensus by people who have studied it for years. So, when I see things that blatantly dispute that I speak up...cause why not? We might as well consider the "expert" opinion if we're going to consider all the "I wrote this on my blog" opionions.

Because we don't all exhibit every trait given each sign. The descriptions in books are an ideal. And there's also the rest of the chart to consider. It's like "types" described in Psychology. Not every borderline personality will exhibit the exact same symptoms, but those they do exhibit will help narrow the diagnosis.

Everyone has their own experience, and it either supports astrology, and they find some truth in it, or it doesn't. My experiences have supported it far more than not, so my only natural conclusion would have to be, there's truth in it. I learned about it through books, so if I'm seeing what I've read in people, that's pretty good proof, as far as I'm concerned.

Oh, there's always more to learn! About anything, that's not what I mean. But, astrology has been around for centuries. Yes, it's a pseudoscience, but so are all these ghost shows and things. Just because some people haven't experienced, say a haunting, in person, does that mean spirits don't exist? They all say that's bunk, too. And again, as someone whose experienced that sort of thing..I'd have to disagree. In a MAJOR way.

Well, because I haven't spent most of my adult life doing research on it to write a book, so I defer to those that have. Yes, they have their own opinions and biases, as well, but of everything I've read, they're more alike than not.

Not necessarily. For example, I've never seen a UFO, but I do think life exists on other planets based on what I've read by scientists about our own planet and the universe. However, that doesn't mean I believe everyone's story of how they saw a UFO outside their trailer....ya dig? I always consider the source. Some are more credible than others. Around here...some people are the dude standing outside the trailer when it comes to astrology. In my opinion if you're going to talk the loudest, it's best to have at least some knowledge about the actual topic. That's just common sense..on any subject.

Well thanks for taking the time to look at my placements and post up all of that information Elena. You may have some good points there but I'll have to disagree on the communication issue with Pisces...they make me feel so damn comfortable and at ease that I have no trouble confiding in them. The fact that I can't completely figure them out is a part of the allure for me though, I find I can lose interest quickly once I have someone completely figured out to the point of not being a challenge at all...like the Cancer ex.

Not all Taurus women are the same obviously, but the one I had was such a bad experience in the end that I'll not be seeking one out on purpose. The fish just have a way of melting me...a bit unnerving to a Scorp, but hey it feels good so I'm down with it.
