Well. It depends.

I have some thoughts, but I will need some background information before I give my opinion on the question you asked above.

For starters:

- How did you and your ex come to be together? Who pursued who?

- At what point did you realize the relationship with your ex, as you said, "wasn't going anywhere"?

- What were your thoughts and feelings towards your ex before you started dating? What were they while you were dating? What are they now?

My ex pursued me for an year before we were together ...
Before we started dating i was not sure of him ... once in the relationship i loved him a lot ... really a lt ... he is a really nice guy ... he loved me so much ... he was really good seriously ... a taurus actually ... too bad we could not work out things together.
We realized we are not marriage type .. we can not get married ... because he wanted some traditional wife ... m a career driven person ..break up was hard ... but we did it for the best ... n i dnt want to get back with him
i still appreciate the person he is ... n i f eel hv spent the best 3 years of my life with him ... i have no regrets in the relationship what so ever

See, that's the thing.. I don't think she actually IS desperate. I think she was never *really* into him in the first place and is now just talking things out ad nausem to get a variety of viewpoints, which she will then either file away or completely disregard, in favor of doing whatever her initial course of action happened to be.

I don't really think she is affected on an emotional level by this Scorp. I think his behavior is probably not what she is used to - and that unfamiliar aspect is intriguing, which she then mistakes for genuine feelings.

I'll bet that she has just "fallen into" most of her past relationships based on the strength of *her partner's feelings for her*; because they pursued and she just went along with it.. Not because she felt compelled to be with them.

At least, that's how it goes with my older sister. And her top two signs percentage wise are Libra and Cancer.

That is true .. i had one relation in the past ... and my bf pursued me ...
but I do find people easily who are reasy to pursue me ... n i choose to be with my boyfriend because he liked me a lot ..

And I don't say this ^^^^ as a bad thing!! Although it probably comes across that way because of my unfortunate tendency to word things poorly.

It simply an Extroverted vs. Introverted approach to understanding and dealing with things. Most of us here probably happen to be introverts IRL (well at least I am), which is why we give the advice we do.. Because we only verbalize our thoughts and feelings AFTER we've sorted them out and/or realized how strong they are..

Extroverts communicate in the reverse - by talking about everything as soon as they think it.

You need to focus on understanding yourself and why you do the things you do. You got a LOT of valuable insight in this topic. There are no excuses 😛
