There were some chanches that should have been easy goals for Brazil.
Credit to Courtois, he played very well.
So what do you think this means now? Do you think Belgium will go to the final game?
The statistic is good.
Teams that has managed to beat Brazil usually went through to the finale.
Ugh....Brazil played well in the 2nd half, just that little bit missing for the ball to go into the goal. I liked that they didn't give up until the end like most south American teams do.
The one thing i didn't like was Witsel's elbows to the back of the head of the guy he was covering. Very dirty and the Serb ref just allowed it from the start. A few words could be said on that in regards to the bias as Brazil put Serbia out, but okay, it is what it is.
I hope France puts Belgium out. Some serious flaws in Belgium's defense revealed themselves in the late 2nd half, probably because they were so tired, but either Courtois made a save or the Brazilians couldn't capitalize on them.
Generally a very watchable game, i hope today won't be defensive lullaby's from Sweden:England and Russia:Croatia.

brazil just didn't have a good startegy to play, every time they got the ball they just stopped moving and tried their ridiculous little pass game, whereas belgium was always running forward with the ball like a train.
Marcelo was really bad on the field.

the commentators are by large saying england will win. maybe so.

and it's true also, one of cro's strengths is the randomness of who can score a goal. they're not as rigid in regards to who can strike or not. if there is a chance, use it.
vida was a fine example with his head shot.
Imo Croatia should be the favourites, they have a stronger team. Hell if the old Yugoslavia were still a country today, that team would be winning the World Cup.
