I would say the male doesn't feel very good about the union...maybe even upset about the woman's past— Possibly can't get over some huge hurdle. She seems like she's fine not concerned with his upset feelings could be a good thing could be a bad thing.

What do you think?

There is a choice in love and uncertainty plus fear of making the wrong choice, something from the past is creating self doubt but it's in their mind. he feels like she could be his true Love (2 Cups), and that she could possibly be the one, and that it’s fated (Wheel Fortune), I also get the feeling that she is a big joy in his life and he looks at her like his Good Luck charm,

however, he feels stuck because it is a long distance relationship and might be questioning everything, possibly because she is giving him the cold shoulder and not showing any emotion (Queen Of Swords), but he still holds on, because he’s waiting for his dream to manifest and for her to come to him (3 Wands) “waiting for his ships to come in”

But yes Wheel of fortune is typically an ending and beginning of something, the wheel turning, the cycles going, destiny and usually a positive change.

I read in order, or literally according to the pattern the cards fall out so it’s a bit jarring for me to read with no order. 😂🤣😅 but hey, life is about expanding past comfort.

Going 100% off intuition, I feel led to group the 2/cup and 3/Wands together, the 5/8/wheel together and that Queen as stand alone.

Queen of Swords is strong, prudent, sharp and always makes the right choice according to logic. But she shows up in my reading a lot, when there’s a hint of tragedy, loss that the person still carries with her in the back of her mind. And strange as it might seem, but I read the King and Queen of Swords to be the most stable romantic match as a pair, when it comes to love based on true partnership. (Wands to me is fiercely independent, Cups about helping each other develop, Pentacles about business/family).

That in mind either A) he sees her as that or B) He is that archetype and is obscuring his deeper or perhaps more hopeful feelings for the sake of safety, logic and having learned from his past.

The 2 & 3, definite sparks, huge potential and possibility, and a sense that he does hope for more there, but also a sense of hesitation and acceptance that it might not come and keeping himself in check, and accepting it could possible not work.

The 5/8/wheel, unresolved pain, that he doesn’t realize is unresolved pain which keeps feeling victim to his own rapidly changing emotions. Someone experiencing a lot of emotional and mental chaos at the same time because they can’t find a way to center themselves. Especially if he is a fixed sign/dominant.

This could be something she brings up in him or how he feels the situation itself is, depending on how the question was asked and if there were other positions asked as well (like how he sees her, what he wants, past, near future, long term potential, etc)

5/wheel is also a combo I see occasionally when people drink to avoid their emotions too, especially if the devil or 3 or 9 of cups, 2/swords also showed up adjacent too.

All just going off my own style and patterns ofc. Artwork too!! Some of my decks would be a lighter interp than those cards, others a heavier depending on how brutal that wheel/5/8 is. I even have one deck where the wheel is actually quite romantic and about unity when I read it lol. But just that one haha.
