What Is Considered a Deal Breaker in Relationships

A deal breaker in relationships is a behavior or issue that cannot be forgiven, such as betrayal of trust. It signifies a point where the relationship cannot continue healthily, leading to ending the connection. Understanding common deal breakers helps in recognizing boundaries essential for healthy relationships.

In our personal relationships we all experience highs and lows, but what, for you, would be a deal breaker in a relationship with a friend, a lover, whatever? That one thing which you cannot forget or forgive ?

For me, it's a betrayal of trust. That's it. It's over. Door slammer. No looking back.

Well not recogniz8ng a potential friend that you may like is actually gay.

If you are gay should never be kiss8ng or flirt8ng with woman that arent gay will never appreciate the pussy deal breaker.

Even If man isn't gay he is telling other woman the same thing and only months learning he is doing the same words with other woman and then tell them the same. Deal breaker.

Lying about your sexuality just be straightforward about that what if I kiss you or had sex are you clean. Hygiene is important.

If you are stick on the ex I have no choice but to move on deal breaker.

Must be complete single, into women and no children maybe.

This is already an established relationship, yes?
For me I think it's mostly time. I'm incredibly forgiving, give lots of chances for most things so sometimes it's just the passage of time and knowing bad behavior is a part of this person that isn't going to change and it's to my detriment to continue on with this person. Which is funny because people are always shocked when I end the relationship/friendship. They think they have an infinite number of chances and are always surprised to realize that they don't.

Other than that I will say, lying and/or cheating. Because when someone is lying/cheating they are taking you for a fool and mocking the fact that you're a trusting person. So for me I think it's an ego thing. I can't look at myself in the mirror if I continue on with someone who views me as an idiot and has such a low opinion of my intelligence.

understood but I would lump that under the "trust" category - trust is everything - like not telling important things and/or straight out lying ... ugh! if I can't trust you, it ain't happening!

Lies I tell people from jump you lie I will question everything you've ever said and I'll never trust you again. If I can't trust you I don't want you arriving and regaining my trust is hard I don't know one person whose been able to fully regain it
