He is dealing with complete assholes who let their business run to the ground....and they are asking for help.
I've dealt with complete assholes who let their business run to the ground....and they all have exceptionally large egos and think they know it all.
There is no "nice" way to help these people. You have to match their ego and simply not gaf about filters.
I actually heard it’s not as simple as people asking for help. The shows scouts go out and find deplorable bars in different cities. Once they come up with a list they poach each bar by telling them that the more extreme they act, the more likely they will get on tv. I heard there’s a big group of bars in Chicago boycotting help from this show because that’s just not a respectable business platform.

That's why I added the disclaimer about the entertainment value.
There will always be a not so clear line with reality TV.
Again, you are dealing with people that have very large egos...so, there will be a group that is faux "appalled".

When I have to deal with jerkface CEOs all day while biting my tongue....yes.

My boyfriend is convinced the unsuccessful bars from the show close because they don’t follow everything Jon Taffer told them to do. I’m not really sure though.
