How would your react if your husbands calms your baby down by putting on Metal Music
People can be stupid at times.....I've been to plenty of death metal gigs...not for the feint hearted and definitely not for babies

Do you think aggressive rockmusic is bad for babies? I cannot find any studies, but the consensus is, keep that bad influence away from children, even

My ex Virgo who was in a death metal band still loves that stuff.....our kid hates it, so I'm so glad we didn't encourage him to listen to it

Actually the opposite is true. If you are boiling inside it can feel like a relief to listen to the music because its
like you talked about your emotion, its tangible and not inside yourself anymore.

Distraction and lack of motivation a big problem, but impulsiveness & hyperactivity are under control. He’s refused to take meds since he was 15. I don’t blame him but the distraction is a big issue.

Yes. Promotes brain function. So does talking to your child.
My local hospital hires a harpist to play for patients based on those studies 👆🏻
She rolls her harp around from room to room when requested. 😊
Beautifully soothing instrument
All the metal fans I know are super mellow and easygoing, so perhaps it does having a calming effect.
Keep the volume low for baby though.
I don't think it is bad at all for some children at reasonable levels for their ears. I knew a baby who had special needs and the only music that really made him happy was metal.
