my view of Scorpio men was severely affected when I witnessed one quarreling with their gf, angry crying while they're sharing a bucket of kfc.
now every time I pass by a kfc, a couple angry crying to each other comes to mind.

I updated my post with more explanation but mainly its their sheer confidence and swagger. I don't think they usually treat their partners right necessarily but they're the epitome of chill "I'm just happy to be here" energy. mafia don energy. I probably also get that vibe from them for synastry reasons. also ironic the lyrics I posted about Taurus are from a song called "Alpha Omega". From a work perspective, I have noticed mostly Capricorn and Leo men in leadership positions. Scorpios have the potential, but they are usually prickly and people are always split 50/50 over whether or not they like them.
yeah Leos plenty of times i've seen them as leaders. my Cap ex still reminisces about that time he ran for office in their small town or whatever.

Alpha males, I'd say leo, taurus and geminis. Alpha females, I'd go with cap and leo. I do think that being alpha is not always a good thing, though, depending on how it's handled.
When it comes to leaders and pisces, I can't help but think of a job I had a while ago, where all the leaders except for one(gemini) were pisces men and most of the people they were leading were scorpios and caps...who were constantly pissed that the leaders could never make a decision that was thought through and would actually work long term. I would guess it's whatever sign cares too much to be alphas. I know one thing is for certain. I don't know any Gemini alphas. Geminis excel best in the music industry (mostly hip hop), politician and managerial and businessmen and women industry. Still don't think that makes them alphas imo. Not any mutables - they like being nice and cooperating. Not Aquarius or Libra (sun in fall and detriment, talk over action). Not Cancer or Capricorn (Cardinal, but feminine, so not initiating). Not Taurus and Scorpio (more feminine signs). Who does that leave? Aries and Leo.
The sun is exalted in the cardinal fire sign, Aries - so final answer = Aries. This is on an interpersonal level. If you're talking something like a CEO, Aries qualities aren't the best - now Aquarius, Capricorn, and Libra are better (anything to do with people cooperation/team building/management are not an Aries strengths).

evolved geminis tend to pull strings from the back (i mean that in a good way) rather than being in the front line. they are the brains. they learn the rules of the game quicker than anyone else and then quietly break them. they're skilled at getting into people's heads. they tend to influence the masses through gentle persuasion rather than force (by nudging, planting doubts, making people question themselves, making people think etc)
i think they are kinda aware of the danger of drawing too much attention to themselves and that manipulation/persuasion works better when it's subtle and discreet.
i think they subconsciously know this principle:
"people love to buy but hate being sold to."
i know a handful of gemini who could be considered intellectual alphas in real life including one of my younger brothers. he seems fearless to me. as if like, there's something unmovable inside of him (an unwavering resolve?). he doesn't seem to back down in the face of fear. he does have a leo moon though that might give him more bravery.

Well then in that case, going by your Sagittarius sun Leo moon father, I guess that would make me an alpha male too. I'm all of those except go out of my way to help just anybody. I only help those that I feel who's deserving of my help. People who strive off of making fun of other people including me, gossiping bad stuff about others behind their backs and what have you gets nothing from me. Like a lot of people in the world who be looking for validations or something good in return for doing good deeds I don't need that. We are just too lazy and placid to react to other people, it takes energy to even want to steer a group
of people. I always feel like that when I am around fire sign coworkers, or people in a heated debate.
