Pumpkin Spice Latte Personality

We all like to take a piss at pumpkin spice latte being a basic white girl personality trait and it’s very true, it’s so basic and it’s so comforting too tho.So my question is: why is everting I like and love considered basic? Why do the things I like and love also happen to be what other women like and love (not all women) and why do these women who typically like these things happen to be Mayflower pilgrim looking women like me? Why?!
Science ? Genetics ? Same generation?
We can’t all be the same but since tiktok, we kind of are and examples are as follows:
1-Pumpkin spice latte season
2- It’s fall ya’ll
3- Hobby Lobby and TJ Max and Target and HomeSense are quite literally all the best places to go with your Starbucks and just wonder around and buy things you don’t need and just unwind.
4- Leggings and Chelsea boots
5- Fall coats and knit sweaters
6- Seasonal throw pillows and sofa blankets
7- Seasonal mugs
8- Leaves 🍁
9- Fireplaces and bonfires
10- Baking
If reading that list made you run to your Pinterest board to get a dopamine hit, then you might be my people.

My mom loves ANYONE she can walk around with and talk at/to and buy stuff for. It's a problem. I suppose that's a possibility. The primal instincts.But honestly who doesn't love comfy things? Like blankets and clothes, warm food/drink, leaves (didn't we all play in leaf piles as a child?), fire is warmth, baking hit or miss

I think it’s totally natural to want to communicate and show affection and create bonding moments. So I totally get her vibe for that aspect.
Maybe it instinctively something we do? 😆 I don’t know I’m like reaching deep in the pockets of basic WW habits tbh. But all women love shopping.

In all seriousness though, women in general like cosy things and we're typically the homemakers who love to create a loving and warm home to live in. Hence why we're typically more obsessed with shopping. And I suppose that and fashion are seen as a feminine energy activity for the most part. and I think certain tastes cater to certain races, I'm an Asian woman in the UK, I think the pumpkin spice latte is alright, not mindblowing but alright. I know plenty of other better drinks that are suited to my tastes. And that's okay. It's suited to your tastes and probably other white women's tastebuds. But I don't even like Starbucks all that much myself.
I do know that different tastes cater to different races because of the fact that we all have different culturally influenced upbringings with that culture's type of food and drink. Doesn't mean we're not willing to try other culture's food and beverage, just means we might not like it as much. I know the old generation Chinese people around me will absolutely judge the drink anyway and tell me why it's not good for me etc. 💀

I do this 👀 BUT I also work from home.
Since the pandemic I feel less inclined to want to dress up tbh. I had to go out and buy an entire leisure wardrobe because I realized I didn’t put much effort into that area before the pandemic. So since then I’ve kept it casual unless I need to dress up for work meetings, events and like nice things like brunch.
Spring is here, are you mourning fall?
