i have but yrs ago not recently

The stats on single mothers in the black community mostly focus on inner city ghettoes.

Black women aren’t nearly as expressive when it comes to trying threesomes, anal sex and other adventurous forms of sex. Most of the black 20 something females I know practice celibacy between partners, and/or are simply married, and/or didn’t lose their virginities until 18.

My Aries Moon is chill. I only get feisty when see some racist shit. But my normal disposition is happy go lucky, and stupid hopeless romantic. And I hate myself for it every time.

I would think he’s sweet and sensitive, but he’s cold. He’s even admitted he can’t remember the last time he was super romantic. And everyone notices it about him, it’s like he feeds off of needing attention and praise. But he’s never willing to do the same or show that compassion. It’s weird to explain, but like even when he asks me how I’m doing “cuz I was sick” it was so odd. Lmao. It was like a robot trying to foster human emotions. I just kinda pretended like I was totally fine, cuz I could tell he wasn’t prepared for me to be honest about how I actually felt horrible.

I've never seriously dated someone of a different race, I have casually dated and have friends of various races, ethnicities, backgrounds, etc.. tho

I'm moreso thinking of the relationship my parents have - my mother n stepfather. My mother always was told her father was some Native guy growing up, she did find out within the last year that is in fact true.. she's white n Native (Ojibwe). My stepdad is supes white. His best friend is also Native/white mix so he kinda grew up around that dynamic.. but there was never issues between my parents because of race.. maybe it's cause my mom didn't know her background? Although she's never "looked white".. you can tell she has something goin on.. idk I'm rambling..

I think pisces moons are so open to the hurt of the world they take it all in - he probably doesn't trust anything - the more you shower him with attention the more he will melt

He does seem to need that level of attention and reassurance, but I can’t treat you like a King if you can’t treat me like a Queen. I just can’t kiss your ass or act like you’re the center of my universe, while you comfortably keep your guard up and act cold. And you’re right, he is difficult to talk to, like super difficult. It takes telling him gently, 5 different times, trying multiple ways, for him to finally give “I guess I see where you’re coming from.” But even that isn’t a declaration of “I’ll do better.” He just goes right back to doing the same bullshit. And I don’t wanna nag anyone, so I’m more prone to mirror a man. But that drives him crazy. Ha. Funny isn’t it. It’s like “oh you don’t like this bullshit. But yet you do it.”

I hate this stupid notion that black women are strong. For one, it’s almost always a derogatory descriptor for black women. And two, like you said, black women are still soft and loving.

I can’t speak for black men, cuz I mostly have black women as friends. The black men that are in my family are married, and the black males that are my friends are usually in long term, stable relationships with their girlfriends—all of which happen to be black women.

But I don’t really talk about their sex life when they’re single ya know? Lmao.

I suppose they’re like most men, they may have a few sex romps or two while single. But a lot of the stereotypes about black sexuality, is just that, stereotypes.

Whereas with white women in particular, I’ve noticed they’re more looser with their sexuality, but a lot of that comes with the territory of American society. America let’s white women get away with things that they wouldn’t necessarily get away with if they were a black or Latina woman. Even with Asian women. Asian women are commodified and seen as the perfect sexual submissive slave.

It’s not necessarily the most flattering sexual stereotype.

Also to answer your last question, Lmao, do black women seem like the type to define their lives best on the bullshit the world says? Lmao.

We’ll speak on racism, microagressions or stereotypes when needed, but we aren’t conforming our lives to fit into some mold, “you” (as in society, not YOU personally) won’t necessarily let us fit into anyway. Shrug.

So no, most black women are sexually conservative if you will, simply because most black women have strong Christian instincts. A lot of black women grow up with very strict black mothers too. It’s a joke we laugh about, but go ask black women how old were they with their first kiss? Or how old they were with their first bf? And many would tell you they couldn’t even date until they were like 17, let alone, their mamas didn’t let no boys “in the house.”

Now go ask your white girl friends, they’ll have a largely different picture of their dating life as a teen.

Obviously, now stats from inner cities and ghettos is much different. Poverty and high crime will tend to do that.

Black women aren’t nearly as expressive when it comes to trying threesomes, anal sex and other adventurous forms of sex. Most of the black 20 something females I know practice celibacy between partners, and/or are simply married, and/or didn’t lose their virginities until 18.

Meanwhile, I knew a few white girls that had at least 3 sexual partners by freshman year of college. The difference is, white women are able to get away with being open sexually, without the narrative becoming as derogatory as it does for WOC.Black women get hypersexualized. Latinas commodified. And Asian women are deemed sexually submissive and willful.

Is it only black women that are less sexually expressive or black men as well? Are black men less likely to hook up? Do they practice celibacy between partners? If it’s only black women can you explain why? Is it to fight the derogatory stereotypes?

I can’t speak for black men, cuz I mostly have black women as friends. The black men that are in my family are married, and the black males that are my friends are usually in long term, stable relationships with their girlfriends—all of which happen to be black women.

But I don’t really talk about their sex life when they’re single ya know? Lmao.

I suppose they’re like most men, they may have a few sex romps or two while single. But a lot of the stereotypes about black sexuality, is just that, stereotypes.

Whereas with white women in particular, I’ve noticed they’re more looser with their sexuality, but a lot of that comes with the territory of American society. America let’s white women get away with things that they wouldn’t necessarily get away with if they were a black or Latina woman. Even with Asian women. Asian women are commodified and seen as the perfect sexual submissive slave.

It’s not necessarily the most flattering sexual stereotype.

Honestly as long as you get alone with the families it’s not too bad. You do notice the differences but I would say think of the hard questions to ask up front. People think one way when things are great but are those differences too large when hints get rough? I dated my son’s father for almost 6 years before we broke up and although he is “down for the culture” He still doesn’t understand that my son needs to understand certain things as a child of black heratige

Heritage* he wants him not to “see color” it’s not like I go around throwing negative beliefs on him, but if it’s something I feel he needs to know I’m gonna voice that. If I don’t I do him a disservice and his father is doing him a disservice by not recognizing that. My response to him is don’t make another biracial baby then if you can’t handle that reality.
