Posted by mehI can do it I guess, I think it's just more enjoyable and take the edge off a near 24hr trip if we are in it together. Eating, laughing, movies, fall asleep drooling on his shoulder crouched up uncomfy the 2 of us LOL!
What is it about traveling alone that you find taxing?
I just feel like *sigh* here I go on my own again, more airports, more planes, more journeys-solo. When I was younger I guess I saw it as more of an adventure and very liberating. Now i'm just over it. It was one of the things that I was looking forward to when i finally meet someone-something to share this kinda stuff with, long overdue.

Honestly beginning to think better to wait until fall and meet up with the parents in Europe somewhere. I cant really afford both trips anyway and i've already had a mega summer of jaunting around! Just thought I should grab the opportunity whilst he is going home, to see the place he grew up, see the man in his natural habitat hehe!

Bf has invited me to NY to meet his fam and friends. The only prob is, its a 20+hr journey and ALONE. Is it bad that I am seriously feeling like I cant do it? The longest journey I take on a plane is around 12 hours and im pooped, so its like getting off that flight and being told okay you have to do the same again, and now.
FUUUUUCK!! Help me!?! I feel rotten, and he doesnt want me to feel bad. He also said it is pretty brutal if he's to be honest to me, so I know to expect that. Im so sick of travelling alone also, since before I met him I knew this, ive been doing it for years SO over it. God I sound so selfish right now. ARGH!

He is offering but I know its not in his best interest to be out of that kind of money. I think ill take a back seat for this trip because we really cant afford now and again over Christmas, esp since we just had a pretty well travelled summer.
