I think I am desparate and I want my Virgo back

Hello guys,
A while ago I had a problem with a Virgo man.
I decided to keep it cool between us, we are not together anymore but last week we went for a coffee through mutual friends. It looks like they need my help because I show up to uni more often and I keep up with lectures. I am ok with it as long as this keeps me close to him.
So last week we arranged a meeting and I had to talk to one of his lecturers. With him we are friends as it seems, but that night, him and our group of friends wanted to go out and drink. I denied because I had to go and study for exams. First he said he won't go then he asked me if I will go and I said 'no'. I did not give explanations. Then on instagram history I saw that he was really at home.
Our company was at a cafe in the cityduring the day and the music was lovely. A bit of rock and roll. He was sat next to me and he showed what he had written in some classes. He asked me some questions about general topics and I started to dance and he started to dance with me...after that I spoke with my girl friend while he was outside smoking and when he came back I started to laugh and I smacked my thigh intentionally, to see if he will copy and he did, then I bounced my leg to the music and he also did.
I started to make plans for the summer too. He has a house at the beach, he offered to our group pf friends. Maybe we will meet... Who knows. Maybe not I am not going to put my hopes up.
It pains me that we cannot be together. It is so sad. I want to hear some of your opinions. I spoke with my mom but all she did was judge me and she called me crazy.
What should I do? How do I get him back? Do Virgos come back after a break up? I really love his presence and I feel relaxed, and I laugh a lot when he is around.click to expand

I am desperate becuse I fell for that guy deeply. I did not realize it until I lost him.
He is so kind and funny, I started to love him for his sense of humor, it is similar to mine and he makes me laugh a lot. Our tastes in music and movies are different, of course, we are not going to be exactly the same but I think I fell for the person that he is. He happens to be an honest and good person as well, he gets on with everybody and I mean everybody. I lost him and I do not know what to do, we are friends now but not togetheras a couple. We did not message for a month until he needed to ask me something about Uni and it wasn't a favor, it was just a question about a lecturer. I was so happy when I saw him on my phone.
Basically we broke up because he was confused between me and another girl. He told me he has feelings for both. But he chose to stay alone. It was so bizzare to me.
We always click so fast when we are together with our company.

My friend told me today that my ex/Virgo/ has advised her to go after her best friend. We were both shocked. I told her that she is not my ex and that what he says is what he does. As soon as his best friend told him that she has feelings for him, he broke up with me because he couldn't choose between me or her. Oh my god. This ruined my mood for the whole day. My faith in humanity will not be restored. I am so disappointed. Is it normal behavior to hook up with your best friend? I think of it as having an affair with your brotjer or sister. It is disgusting. I am crying. Only if I had known what kind of person he is...

I wanted to hang with her, he also wanted to hang with her. She was split and she gave up, she was so tired of both of us that she did not contact me for a month.
