Updated- 2007 Resolution list for Virgos!

Folks,

I have updated the list with total no. of resolution items at 82 - YES!!! I am so HAPPY for reaching my this goal, I still need your help for if we can make it till 160!

I have updated/modfied/changed the original "successories" virgos are using till date and bet will continue to use it for "continued success" in their all "relationships" :-).. These are all types of virgos I am dealing with in the form of father, close friends and bf. Believe me for the month of Sep. I have every day one B'day wish to send to these perfectionists from Sep. 01 till Sep. 20th non-stop. The trouble, is I can't copy paste the same wish email to ALL of them as incase they discuss among them as the form a common group!! That does take a lot of my time every year 😉..

Thanks for those who have contributed so far and I expect your continued support in reaching our goal at 160 or ABOVE!!

I have already forwarded a list to my brother and sister and my mom for IF they can find even more and better items! Finally I plan to send to my dad, who I believe will cross some T's and dot some i's and then will not speak to me for a while, what a relief!!!


Have fund ... Here it goes ...

1. Though I (virgo) have ALL personal relationships failed so far, never try to perfect my self in that department but the world!

2. "Assume" and "over analyze" every thing in a person who sincerely tries to know me - the virgo.

3. Be suspicious to find others "motives" for their liking me

4. Have my insecurities covered up by using most sarcastic tone for the nearest and dearest people

5. Scare off any one and every one by coming across too strong emotionally

6. Disappear the moment some one shows me that s/he cares for me just as a human being for ?who? I am and for not ?what? I am

7. Never call/email the people of ?importance? in life, if I do get calls or emails just "ignore" them thinking its being too ?emotional? or time consuming or ?an attack on my time and space?

8. Criticize every one for their "imperfection" and double/triple that for the person who is the nearest one

9. Treat the nearest ones worse than the treatment I give to my worst enemy

10. Take my nearest ones by taking them for granted and in the name of making them even more ?perfect?

11. Provoke others and then blame it all on others - Act like I did not do any thing or was not aware/made aware of any thing

12. Do not let others speak and always engage others in constant arguments. If some one does not argue, conclude that it is because they are ?wrong? and as always, I am ?right? and this time too my ?judgment? about the situation at hand is correct

13. Never admit my mistakes since I can never ever make any mistakes

14. Never communicate any thing clearly and assume that others will understand it themselves as if they are psychics

15. Play best of the best head games and feel smart thinking how I made others fools, of-course deny that I ever knew the word ?game?

16. Treat human being w/o affection and w/o respect like a robot. Better yet call them ?object of affection?

17. Consider being emotional as a MAJOR MAJOR sign of weakness even though I know having emotions and feelings is what differentiates me from non-human things

18. Look for ?practicality? in personal relationships in the name of ?compatibility?

19. Make others in a situation I want them to be in and then call it a ?chase? for me by them

20. Use brain rather than heart in personal matters as if I am diagnosis a patient or finding hardware fault

21. ?Process? EVERY thing any one tells me including their scheduled car maintenance and along with their food preference

22. REMEMBER extremely small details pertaining to any thing, unnecessarily worry about it and exaggerate it due to my worrier nature

23. Stay behind the scenes and be a silent observer. Observe every single micro details others whole heartedly do per the situation and then use it against them

24. "Judge" all others except my self, though it's said in all religions that "Judge me not?- because I (the God) is the ultimate judge.

25. Confuse others by my subtle actions (if ever I take any in personal department), directions, comments/sarcasm AND silence

26. As I charm out others, tag every one and any one as a ?charmer? that shows sincere respect for me and my family

27. In a face to face, talk about every thing else EXCEPT for the personal stuff for which the ?meeting? was ?organized?

28. Believe and prove that communication is UN-IMPORTANT even though I use multiple telecommunication devices such as computer, black-berry, cell-phone, phone etc. all for ?communicating? with the world and keeping me ?up to date?

29. Since my ?standards? are extremely high do NOT dress according to the occasion to ?judge? others whether they like me or my clothes

30. Be extremely self critical and count all my blessings as all my curse

31. Though I am gifted with intelligence, be my own critic and think that ?Love and Intelligence are over rated?

32. Believe that money is more important than peace of mind

33. Call myself un-emotional and take pride in that

34. Be un-emotional only till my own feelings are hurt at which time be extremely angry. Even after that, claim that nothing actually can hurt you since you are so balanced with your emotions

35. Discriminate any thing and any one that I see different than me

36. Never leave my ?safe/comfort? zone to reach my potentials in all areas including personal ones due to the fear of failure or rejection

37. Limit my growth in all areas of life due to my own self concluded rational approaches and conclusions towards it

38. Protect loved ones by ?scaring? them against any new person coming in their life

39. Have a terrific ego and tag it in ?self respect?

40. Be workaholic to the extend that neglect ALL other areas and people in life till the work is over with great quality

41. Do not believe in division of labor and do every thing by myself as only I can do the job better than any one else
42. Delay and sometimes never do most important things in life (settling in life) for I want to do it only in ?perfect? ways and DO NOT want to make mistake
43. When confronted with errors or when defeated, just disappear for a long time instead of being sporty
44. Compete with others even during personal encounters for every thing, BUT in the display of emotions
45. Believe that romance/love should come all by itself without ANY efforts what so ever on my part
46. Demand and lecture about sacrifice, adjustment and love for family from others, BUT when it comes to adjusting MY schedule for dinner, show others how big of a ?sacrifice? I made by adjusting my schedule to join for a dinner
47. Feel BUGGED and INTERFEIRED when some one is interested in knowing why I am late at work
48. Give first preference to MY Tax return filing instead of personal relationship even though there are multiple weeks before the tax return dead line.
49. Be negative in every thing and any thing some one with positive attitude tries to do and DISCOURAGE them by my negative comments and by showing them my imaginary worst case scenarios
50. Aspect that I be included and asked before making important decisions but when really asked, do not tell the truth
51. Do not take responsibility for my actions/no actions in personal relationships even though I know every action has a reaction.
52. To hide my insecurities and lack of confidence, shoot for a much lower goal than what I am capable of achieving in any area of life
53. Always have heavy mood and face for just in case some one catches me smiling
54. Do not have a sense of humor and take every thing personal, in particular when I have committed a big blunder
55. Never forgive the nearest ones for their having little extra sugar in my coffee for their crime they committed twice in the year of 2001!
56. Be the first and most sarcastic one to find others faults and point fingers as I can never bare the second/less perfect position in any area of my life
57. Argue, Justify, Prove and Conclude that I am better than you in every thing to hide my insecurities
58. When hurt, behave like a child/grown up baby and do not talk to others for a very long time while secretly hoping that others make a first move to talk to me and pamper my ego.

66. Accomplish the task of making the coolest people angry by my actions/no actions/comments/sarcasm
67. Always show every one their faults BUT when some one shows me my ONE fault/rather a big blunder get very disappointed by them and tell every one I am always misunderstood by every one
68. DISAPPROVE , IGNORE AND DISCARD real proofs that do not conquer with my superior logic
69. ANALYE people from afar without attempting to know them from near or for a longer time
70. Do not understand the fine line between being ?negative? and being ?realistic? by proving that being negative is a sign of being ?realistic?

71. Prefer and Want that every one AGREES with me always as I only like an audience for my lectures
72. Starve for a strong person who can take ALL my criticism but when really I do come across one, feel threatened

74. Pose a logic of opposition for every thing for people to ?convince? me otherwise as I am never SURE/CONFIDENT about my own judgments

76. Advertise to other that I don't like to play 'games' (and I never did!) then show them my MR GAME PLAYER EXTRAORDINAIRE characteristic. Answer the phone when I know it's them and then pretend that I didn't realize that they were calling....
77. Promise to be an equal opportunity provider, provided YOU turn off the light.
78. I will not discriminate on the basis of sex, color, religion; every one of you is adorable after 2 am..

Caprigirl -- your list is great and i am happy that i contributed one small item... but yet agree with all 80 items!!! I find it amazing, simply stunning, that all of us have been with different Virgo men - yet they ALL seem to have these exact same characteristics..... it's mind blowing....

you using the word "bugging" that is what mine would say -- " if you don't bug me maybe i'll call you" fu!!!! is what i should have said instead of being sweet, kind, nice and sympathetic to whatever was 'ailing' him at the time...

anyway, just curious, what is your experience/relationship with the Virgo male -- how long were you with him, etc.....?

Right now, I just want to thank you for this list. I wish I had seen it MUCH earlier, to spare me of the annoying pain of the virgo. My father reacted with # 38 when I told him about the virg that I liked. I'm glad I got to see this list before my b-day at least.

85. All I ask is for a decent human being in a relationship even though I require you to be able to do anything I ask at any time that I ask it regardless of how irrational the command.

I bet you will loose ground. May be you can "rationalize" your views/perception with "what every one knows" but unfortunately that's the TRUTH.

How come Virgos have trouble hearing about their faults while they piss off every one else? I am generally the cool headed one, but ALL of the above mentioned virgo traits can make any one loose their temper.

Who is at the loss? Both parties - the ladies offering their pure love and care to virgos and the great virgos failing to comprehend that.

I posted the so called "list" - hoping some of the virgos will become little more aware of their traits and may be do something about that; so they save trouble of breaking their hearts and others' too.

Never my policy to look better by making others look bad. In fact, I hate it when some one has to say sorry to me for I don't like putting any one in embrassing situation. Most of the time, I can bite off my tongue and keep quite, but when I do speak , I generally blow it off.

Oh please. this truth is known by all. There are just people who give up on virgs and don't even bother to point out how immature their actions are and some people just have other cowardly or selfish reasons for not bashing the virgo.
I, however, don't have anything to lose. Not that we're going to go around lynching virgs, hell, by no means. I have plenty of virg friends that are actually not evil and what they do actually makes sense. But those are the younger virgs.

I simply hope, one day, to demote you all from your throne of 'the epitome of arrogance' because you all refuse to change your contradicting ways once you've made them a habit. thanks for the list. i think it's so funny how my feelings/thoughts relate to this list about my virgo. whether it's true to them or not, i think a lot on this list are misunderstandings between us, non virgos, and virgos themselves.

lol Never liked Sakura that much. Her outfits are pretty cool though. The anime wasn't that great. I do have the clow book with the clow cards. That anime is really old though. 🙂

And no I'm not just some anime fan. I have friends in high and low places not just anime fans and I think it's because of my interests in all aspects of music, art, science, history, human analysis, communication, innovation and humanitarian endeavors.

Honestly, I want to know everything about everything. However, things I don't like to waste my time with are traditional fantasy, narrowness, ignorance, emotions, liars, schemers and depressed/chemically imbalanced people. HOWEVER, since, unfortunately, there are many people with these characteristics who exist, the humanitarian trait, once again, comes into play because it is not a part of my nature to hate or ignore people but to help people.

I think a good anime for you, dy, would be Gundam Wing. I love the storyline, the mecha and the whole idea behind it. It was one of the first anime I became interested in and I wanted to create an anime that took Gundam wing up a level. Unfortunately, after spending two years in between hw assigments to write it, my brother found a magazine that had new anime coming out, one had almost the exact same storyline as mine and I was devestated. 😢

Anywho. Gundam Wing, Nadesico, Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Shamploo, Rurouni Kenshin, Fullmetal Alchemist, Tenchi Muyo, Outlaw Star, Patlabor, Ghost in the Shell....there are so many.. If you are interested in mecha, sci-fi, mystery, intrigue, computer animation, etc..then those are some good anime...

and btw, yes, part my humanitarian motivations are for the otaku, not that I will get into that. And that is because I have plenty of ideas in that area but I have it copyrighted for a reason..so 'my lips are sealed'..

besides, I think it would be ideal to talk about virgs on a virg opinion board not anime on a virg opinion board, don't ya think? So no, I'm not just some Anime Aqua Chick, but you can label me what you want, I have no control over your free will anyway.

well. actually, I asked my dad what kind of anime he liked. Then I considered many other factors, like people of your generation were the first to see manga, computers, and space stuff. So I'm sure it would still interest you now. I don't know about my generation but I love mecha and science fiction more than any other genre. All I have are brothers, maybe that's why, I don't know. I got interested in physics because I was fascinated my mobile suits, plasma guns, stuff like that..I would love to see a real mobile suit one day. it would take physics and neurology for the kind of mecha they have in that anime.

I was thinking about telling you Gundam Wing cause it was sort of a space/futuristic anime. I thought it would be smart to ask my dad first though, cause you are both of the same generation and I know that he likes anime. Now that I think about it, you both have military backgrounds too.
