The pretty brunette sipped her drink loudly, her eyes stayed fixated at the chocolate cake in the middle of the table. Her fingernails tapping rhythmically against wood causing the demon next to her to growl out loud, “Will you stop that?”

His eyes shifted over at her, angry blue-fire challenged her dark eyes. She shrugged, her delicate hands formed into a fist.

The other demon lounged back, looking at the human girl, and sent his brethren a knowing wink,

“So when can we eat? We can’t just have that….” pointing at the three layered cake, “Sitting there all tempting us and all that.”

He licked his lips, his stomach grumbled noisily. The other demon rolled his eyes heavenward, sneered, “When the rest of the girls get here, that’s when.”

After finishing off her cold drink, the short haired girl pulled a face, bit her lip and sighed, “You know…”

Both men looked at her.

“Yeah?” the one who wore a suit that looked very much 1800's, smiled cheerily, “Go on.”

“We can always occupy our time before they get here. Instead of staring at the cake, we can play cards!” She looked at their expressions and neither made a positive look. Trying again, she cleared her throat,

“How about chess!”

The surly demon with the slicked back hair leaned back, his arm over the chair; a derisive snort was all he was able to voice out. He was bored out of his skull and wanted desperately to cause mischief. He was a demon after all.

“Little girl, you sure you want to do that? Chess doesn’t look like something you’d be interested in.”

“Wait.” She narrowed her eyes, “You think I can’t take you on?”

“I think you can.” He nodded slowly, then raised his chin and stared at her a little longer than she’d like. She cleared her throat, “Just goes to show you who’s really prejudice around here.”

“Prejudice? What do you mean?”

“You judge me, because I am human, I am a girl, and most of all, I look like someone….”

He finished her sentence with a half grin, “Like someone who needs a spanking.”

She ignored him and looked away.

“How about checkers? Maybe?” He looked at his brother, “What do you think?”

“As if you cared what I thought for once.” The other countered, his expression bored.

Before the short haired brunette could utter another reply, the door opened loudly, revealing two ladies, who looked like ladies of the night. One of them fashioned in red curly locks, tight spandex from the 70s, and high heels. The other female, wore her dark blonde hair long, but with a short skirt and tank top, with tattoos that say, "cunt".

“About fucking time, girls.” This came from the one without the shirt, his jacket opened, revealing his muscular, but trim build. He slammed his flat hand on the table.

“Everyone miss me?” The dark blonde winked at them, her hip cocked out, “I thought I’d bring drinks!” She pulled out a bag that was hanging on her shoulders and took out beer bottles and expensive whiskey brands.

"Boring!” Came the lazy reply from the 1800's demon.

"Well i have something better!" The curly lady pulled out a map, showing a way to get to a new dimension.

The little brunette sniffled, she didnt like to go anywhere, because well, she was a human, and they were all demons from another dimension.

The open shirt demon, lanky and tall, approached her, bowed magestically, "Madam, if you will, I would escort you to another dimension safely."

She smiled, felt good that he cared enough to even offer, "thanks but no thanks, i fear i won't survive the trip."

"hell has many levels, darling." said one of the girls.

She had to have no fear. Human or not.

Hell was just as good wasn't it? She looked at the four demons. They looked beautiful, in a kind of weird way, one who looks like he was out of this century, nose held high, the other acted a bit like a cowboy, and the women, they did look as though they could make a lot of money stripping or giving out sexual favours but then the men would most likely never survive the episodes.

She took his hand, which was held there for awhile, for her to take, and when they touched, their energies sparked as if electricity and thunder struck them both.

Have no fear, have no fear was her litany.

She stepped into the darkness, into the whirlpool of chaos, where heat and fantasy collided; the laws of physics held no understanding in a realm that understands nothing. It was a wasteland in the open earth, swallowed up, but she had no fear.

not when she held their hands, stepped into the dark consuming abyss.
