IDENTITY; A Short Poem

Is it safe to be lost
All tired and tossed
In the midst of some other's dream?
To loose I, Mine and Me?
Only YOU do I see,
Till I've lost all Identity?

And then a day comes along
I no longer belong
'cause you've fished someone else from the stream.
And the waters of waste
Run down my face
Washing the me back to me.

So your hope is your salad
I think more of the ballad
But everyone has there own dream

I express how I feel
whether phantom or real
and I whisper more than I scream

If a work can evoke
laughter or hope
it's done it's job it would seem.

for me down time does help me to refocus and decide that if I'm not happy, I need to accept that I played a part in my current condition and I need to play a part of changing it for the better, be it personal or global situations.

well, maybe not always, but you're right, if I look hard enough I can get real down real fast, but also, I could choose to see how fortunate I am compared to ppl that really suffer with physical pain or the anquish of war...

Yeah, I don't like animal cages either, but without that, you might not be able to eat as affordably as you do...I like to buy organic cage free eggs, but it costs almost $ 4 a dz!.....the fact is most of the meat you eat has been confined in order to make it feasible, both for you and the grower...

Good for you.....and for the animals....I have a lot of animals I care for and I try to always make decisions that would make them happy...

Actually my nephew has a pet rat and he did tell me she is very clean and extremely intelligent...I guess I have a pre-determined idea that's hard for me to let go of.

It sounds like you have strong character and drive, you'll do well to follow your passion about animals and working with them.

what I was thinking, you can buy one on ebay for pretty cheap, or maybe you can find a used one locally.

You could do a book for enthisiast with lots of pictures and a depiction of what the animals are thinkin...true animal lovers can "read" the non-verbal communication, and actually, some animals are hillarious.....

That might be ythe trick....good luck!
