Astrology and dating, it’s true

After taking a break from astrology, well at least in the sense of using it as a tool to determine how my relationships will turn out... once again the power of the universe shows why it is not to be trifled with.

I am a Leo, recently divorced.. was married to a Scorpio... believe it or not the attraction was very intense and mutual despite what a lot of the literature says about these two... we loved each other passionately, well at the beginning at least lol. What took over from there were our other placements, especially our Venus signs... it felt like our Venus signs alone dictated the pace of our relationship and ultimately lead to its demise.

My Venus: Gemini

Hers: Capricorn

I was very flirtatious and talkative with her all the time.. Even when we were already together I courted her. However with her Venus being in Capricorn, she seemed detached, aloof, almost cold like but she insisted she was very much in love and on staying together. Being a Venus Gemini it felt boring and I’m the type that loves mental stimulation, conversation. At times I would even ask myself are we still in a relationship? Lol. Now with our relationship I promised to keep astrology out of it and simply just let things sail on it’s own.. and now here I am years later reading on our placements thoroughly and realizing now why things didn’t work.
