House Overlays
This is exactly what scares me about synastry! Happens every time with an Aries moon in my 7th house and it just makes me extra cautious and back off even more, so I don't take things the wrong way.

What if a person's planet falls right on the cusp of two adjacent Houses in another person's chart? Would you have to determine House cusp degrees to see exactly which House the planet falls in or would you consider it in either/both Houses?

I checked my Venus again with my ex and it falls into both his 11th and 12th
Some of the 12th house meaning applies to how I felt when I was with him..
"This could be an unrequited love: you love the 12th house person, but they don’t return your affection. This could be a lonely love because you feel alone in the relationship"
This was my perception of the marriage...he did love me, but wasn't good at expressing it...and I did feel lonely with him, especially as he always seemed to put his work first...

I am just tripping over the houses since I’ve got here. THAT is not widely explained or I am not finding correct info as of yet.
I’ll leave you alone with this but one thing please...why am I an 8 house as you’ve mentioned? That’s it. I am not expecting whole 9 yards. Just why 8? Maybe it’ll give me an idea and I’ll ‘get it’...

Because you have a stellium in the 8th house...i.e. three planets or more so that makes your 8th house dominant over others
