I had a great Halloween...
Totally unplanned. I had a hectic week and I really didn't want to go anywhere. I was thinking of staying in, under the covers... Nice and cozy.
Then just like that, after some chatting with a friend, around 9 o'clock or so, I started to scramble to put together a costume to attend a party.
It was a great night!
I love those unplanned moments that turn out great.
Living on the edge...lol

My boss called yesterday and told me to drive two hours away and pick up Miss Lucy..the state police have her. Miss Lucy is a client that's in her early 80's (I think?). Multiple people had called in about someone weaving all over the road, so I had to go with a co-worker to retrieve her car from the side of the road and give her a ride home. She wasn't drunk at all, just shouldn't be driving.
She comes from old Kentucky Tobacco plantation money. When I stopped by to pick her up this morning (She wanted to go to the police station to sue the Sheriff for taking her license and because someone 'stole' her car [it was me i must admit lol]), she said as I walked in her bedroom to meet her.. "How do you like my bed? It's a sleigh bed." I was like "it's a sleigh bed??" she said "No, it's slave bed..from when we had slaves on the plantation." What?? how old ARE you, lady lol
I feel bad for her as she has some dementia and her relatives don't want to deal with her..reminds me of my grandmother before she passed. None of this is part of my job description lol. So I get to pick her up every other day now and I don't know where we're going or what we're doing. We go out to eat and she seems more clear when she has someone to talk to.
Awww everyone needs companionship.... If it isn't shared, it doesn't mean anything!

I was having an innocent conversation with my coworker who's actually a drug dealer and we may possibly be high as a kite at the time. Drinking my drink graciously until he pointed at two little girls in bee costumes and said "see, slutty bees let's count how many more we see tonight".
Needless to say my drink never made it anywhere cept my mouth. Other than that Halloween was pretty shite for me.

yes! my new avi picture was the costume!! I barely wear makeup so was a lot for me to sport! Everyone loved my costume except the boss... 😆

He also admitted to talking about me to people about me. Plus, he said when he moves into his new place that "we'll" go to the store and stock up the fridge of stuff that I would like. Been spending almost everyday day with him and one of the days we didn't see each other he said he missed me. Aww

we're planning something very cool for hubby's bday soon though. Something that has to do with the Beach, and renting a beach house. It's cold right now, (the wind and near the ocean especially) but we'll do some fire crackling on the beach, get a cottage and have dinner by a restaurant by there. 🙂
i wanted to make dinner and invite family and close friends, but this was a perfect idea. Beach and summer house and restaurant by the ocean. LOVE IT. ^___^

I've been asked to plan my good friend's surprise bday party. She's a cap. Her husband wants to do something before the date as it always falls around Xmas and gets overlooked.
Any ideas?
I love the idea of balloon avalanches and and photo balloons over tons of food and drinks. You could get everyone to send you pics of them with your friend and attach them to the bottom of balloons that are on the ceiling.
As for maybe something sweet, a love scavenger hunt would be awesome! Have small notes laying around with instructions, like maybe a tiny envelope hanging from her morning tea instead of the normal tag, she opens it to find a sweet love note with instructions and then leave balloons with envelopes in certain places until she comes to a secluded place for a special picnic or event. A friend of his who doesn't know her could be a personal driver at one of the spots and drive her to a store or hotel to "pick up" an already paid for dress to change into, where another note will be to get back in and go to such and such to meet just him or friends.

that's awesome! we did the beer tasting last summer and that was so fantastic. Loved it!!
game night with buds is more HIS style . lol
we love gathering at a bonfire outside! especially in the garden but not our garden. More at relative's since they have a backyard that isn't filled with botanical plants and trees. More open space so there's room for benches and chairs and a big bbq pit.

I still consider myself a newbie but what I've noticed on some threads is animosity or dare I say hatred towards Aquarians. I'm definitely not going to lose sleep over it but it is a bit annoying seeing multiple people tag teaming on either one person or sign.
Whenever I see someone being ganged up on its like I instinctively feel like chiming in and defending that person but as with most online "battles" I know it'll probably be never-ending and therefore not really worth the time to waste especially when the other parties resort to childish retorts.
Despite that I still find this site interesting and some people to be so as well. After all on the internet you're bound to meet trolls or bump heads with someone.

Any updates on your end? haven't had a catch up! So I think I might be promoted to head office for the company I work with, ahh many more minions, many more. Along with that sag I was telling you about which is still a mystery to me. One person says this and another person says this while she's all like whatever.
