Aquarius Temper

Everyone talks about how "cool" the Aquarius is, but I never hear people talk about how or what would make an Aquarius male loose his temper. How does he behave? Does he throw stuff around? Yell and scream?
Storm out the door? And What are the things that would set an Aquarius off? I'm really curious to know.

Only a couple of people have set me off in that way. Explosive is probably the best word I can use. It's a bit more irrational when dealing specifically with people threatening my friends, a direct physical threat right there is probably enough to send my fist flying into the other person's face.

Though I suppose judgement is used to evaluate the 'sincerity' of their threat? meh

The other two times I can recall was my step sister being annoying and in my face, went on for about two years after I repeatedly try to diffuse it. Ended up with me pinning her up against the wall asking her to leave me alone.

Lastly with a long time friend of mine, again it was really after a lot of prodding until I couldn't take it, nothing physical here I just lashed out verbally and asked for them never to bother me again.

So, I'm not sure hey. I usually avoid conflict (+1 to cat lady astrology about aquas avoiding it) I tend to give people way too many chances. Even if all placements dealing with negatives of mine fall mainly in aries (explosive) I still have the pisces mars so I'm really hard to anger.

The Aquarius temper is underestimated, IMO. It takes a lot to get you guys to that point, but when you do...watch the fuck out.

that's true. ALOT of aqua and if especially with a stellium Aries/Mars in there or in their personal planets. It's a terror.

A few of my exes made no qualms with getting into verbal or physical altercations in other people's defense.

Mainly if they were in a bar and someone was being extremely disrespectful to a woman or if another guy was getting ganged up on.

well, if I feel someone is manipulating me, I get very angry. Especially if it's trying to manipulate me into thinking that so and so is good for this and that. I already have strong opinions on it so stop trying to make me believe in something that isn't what I like.

But let me tell you something, very truthfully, my husband would NEVER even associate himself with a tyrant woman, or an aggressive masculine type of woman. NEVER. Much less one who is angry enough to break the precious things he buys or the assets we bring together as a couple.
So that tells you something right there.

But for some damn reason, in the past, men have taken my strong opinions as DEFIANCE. Even if I'm saying it in a soft spoken demure voice. It's as if something in them wants to destroy me for even thinking that. Luckily my husband is kind and gentle and one of the many reasons I married him.

although in retrospect...

he manages to make me change my mind easily. He has more sense and wisdom than I do.

I once witnessed a quick response from an aqua who used to be a cop.. Someone disrespected his dog and within 2 seconds he twisted him and on the ground cop style .

The thing that set me off is just being around the same people for too long, I get cabin fever easily so if you get on my bad side when I'm feeling vulnerable and boxed in I'll probably just lash out with some blunt shit at some really random time

I'm not a man...but try to wake me up when I'm not ready....I've swung at many of my family members before. I never remember doing it though!

All of the Aqua's I know are super friendly and are rarely angry or upset because it takes alot to anger them but in my experience a few topics turned them into a red hulk:

- Immature actions out of spite
- Blantant disrespect

When angry they have either just chosen to walk away from the situation to cool down or they said some really cruel things (only if you didn't let them "walk away")

I have an aqua mars. It takes a lot to get me really angry. I try to see the motivation behind as to why the situation is as it is or why people do what they do. Try to understand and let each be their own. But, when it comes to the point of absolute anger, lordy beware.

I will calmly and coldly, logically and bluntly, tell you EXACTLY what is on my mind. That controlled anger is quite scary. Of course, the control comes from the capricorn moon, but the calmness comes from the aqua mars. I have been known to throw things and scream, but in my old age, I have learned the calm, controlled anger is much more effective.

The last time I got that angry, a hot-headed Aries got the blunt of it. Rumor has it, she respects me now and, I have heard, is a little afraid of me. I don't quite know how I feel about that.

Thankfully, it doesn't happen that often.

It takes a lot for me to get angry. Like purr said when i am mad watch out. I dont necessarily get physical but I will verbally tear you a new one. I have had people cry before.

My nephew's roommate is an Aqua, he is such a nice guy and has been dating a Gemini for a couple of years. Last weekend we were all hanging around watching a movie, they both walked in and she(the gemini)went straight to his room, he sat down and proceeded to watch the movie. She stayed there for the rest of the evening, no one could understand why she did that. By the end of the night he went to his room and started yelling at her, like really yelling at her, I was shocked!! I had never seen him so mad.

Next day she walked around the house like a church mouse.

I wasn't saying that was a negative thing. I don't have any negative experiences with an Aqua. I've seen them yell at others (who deserved it, IMO).

I've known several Aquarians over the years and all had a certain characteristic of being overly social and cool with strangers and friends, but could be short-fused and downright nasty with their own family. Like the private persona is complete opposite from the person they publicly portray to be.

When I first read this list I thought you were listing everything the aqua will resort to in a fight to tear you a new one. I was nodding in agreement when I realized that was your list of things that will anger an Aqua.

I've never seen my aqua angry but he gets annoyed with stupidity and others being overly emotional or childish
(okay okay, me 😄).
Loyalty is a big one for him, If you betray him you're cut off for life and will get only ice.

No or very few Tantrums like Cancers or Scorps but can be aggressive towards aggressive men.
Seems stereo-typically alpha about that stuff.

I have read somewhere that we adopt a threatening silence, which holds true for me. Just don't like to deal with immature, close minded jerks, their ignorance, lack of sense, and their ability to make simple things too fucking complicated makes me really angry. I just don't understand when these fucking stupid people who lack sense score good in exams!!! But they really don't have a mind of their own. I am a very calm person and i don't get angry that often, but when I do, I either become quiet or spiteful, depends!! If a person is dumb then I am quiet, I'd rather talk to the wall I am staring and the wall would be smarter than a stupid person anyday!

I also hate when people become too needy and emotional, and when they think they can take advantage of me and my money. Lazy people who can't do their own thing and are always dependent on others for their projects, want you to search something on the internet cos they are so fucking busy chatting on fb and whatsapp! So there are just wholw bunch of assholes who annoy me. Also hate slutty guys and girls, why are you trying to pass me your disease mate!

mars is where your anger is. mars in aquarius can be vicious. (generally speaking) especially if it's badly aspected.

but even the ones w/ aqua can be vicious and cruel, that's what i mean. I feel the same way what i wrote earlier in the thread.

Defense mechanisms & temperament are up to the individual & have little to do with astrology. Astrology cannot predict a person's past, baggage, circumstances or outside factors that affect & create personality.

So if you meet an Aqua guy who punches holes in the wall....nah, he's not doing that b/c it's an 'Aquarius thing.' He's doing that b/c somewhere along the line him being so emotionally immature, unstable & impulsive became his defense mechanism. And the culprit for those mechanisms isn't astrology no matter how you slice it.

Now are Aquarians known to give the silent treatment, disconnect or be unforgiving when hurt? Perhaps. Maybe. But what each Aqua does with each of those emotions is dictated by outside factors, not astrology. As they say, it's not how you feel that speaks volumes about you. It's how you ACT on or REACT to certain emotions that builds/dictates character.

As for me? When I'm mad, I disconnect. Yes, I can verbally annihilate someone. How? B/c I'm good at articulating mean thoughts in a way that it hits you like a ton of bricks in the same way I can creatively articulate good and positive things to others in a way that affects them.

I don't punch holes in walls, turn abusive or make an ass out of myself though. Maturity is the reason for that discipline, not astrology.

Yep, I'm that way too. I hate seeing others take advantage of people they know who are too afraid to speak or defend themselves etc. That sets me off big time.

I'm also the type that if you can dish it take it because I'll dish it back until you can't take much more. Though honestly these days I've learned what battles are worth fighting and which to walk away from.

Sometimes just letting it go can prove to be so much better because some people are so dumb they aren't worth wasting your breath let alone your time over.

I don't lose my temper easily. At least not with people outside of my parents/siblings.

But yes, I am hard to anger in the sense that when I get angry, I don't give it back. I act a little strange like stopping eye contact with the person, not talking to them properly to make them understand that what they did was not great and I didn't like it. If they don't get it, then I will take it another step forward and not look at them at all. Could end a friendship/relationship if they continue to ignore my change in behavior.

Also, if it goes overboard and I don't care about losing the person, that's when I turn on my verbal duel with them. Say nasty stuff and ensure that I hurt them very badly and they'll remember me and my words for sometime. Not pleasant to hear at all.
