I can't even recall any because they get so convoluted and tangential that they don't make any sense if you try to recall them.

Like if someone is ignorant and don't care about questioning life, world, science etc..
Meanwhile someone elsse is improving their knowledge and want to connect with you and are open to learn and share their new perceptions about topics they gather informations from and want your opinion on it.

With my Aqua buddy we can have conversations for hours, I think one time we talked for like 8 hours on the phone.We talk about everything, he usually talks about his friends and weird experiences, I usually get going about an idealistic society, hippie things
Also lots of drug talk lots of joking around, lots of weird noises ,

But tbh we don't have "conversations" much. Usually just random moments where we're in sync with each other's weird thought processes.

Honestly, I know I wouldn't be able to clique with someone who didn't care about expanding their knowledge.
In the end they would end up stifling my own thoughts and ideas. Also, I'd have no one to vent to or connect with on that level. Mental stimulation is at the absolute top of the list for me. I cannot be without it.

Brain Games, Forensic Files, PBS documentaries, Human Planet, Cosmos, historical documentaries, prison documentaries, Blue Planet, etc....I can go on and on.

Im so down! Ive watched the documentary 13 recently on netflix about black incarceration! Its a crazy mess how in 2014, usa had 2 000 000 of prisoners (in huge majority black people). I bet you saw that one.

Yea topics get very weird. I usually have these with my Taurus best friend. (guy)
Being intelligent is a native thing. It involves a very high capacity of analysis and drawing logical conclusions based on the presented facts. It also implies being creative, imaginative, finding quick and efficient solutions, many times based on a keen intuition. Being smart and cultivated comes from knowledge and curiosity. We can all become smart, but not intelligent. Aquas are probably the most inclined to be intelligent by birth. If they use this for their own benefit, they can become very good scientist, imaginative writers, professionals, etc. What I call an intellectual conversation is having ideas flow. No trivial replies. But a game of intelligence. Inspiration. When I can actually catch a clue in the air and write about it. And bounce it back. Be my muse and I'll love you endlessly.

Isnt there 8 types of intelligence in this world..
That's exactly what I mean. Because intelligence is not the amount of knowledge you possess, but the capability to filter, analyze and use it in a proper way, regardless of the type of known intelligence, be it linguistic, mathematical, musical, spatial, emotional and so on. If you cannot process them, you can never develop them from nothing. The bran simply refuses to comprehend.

We do that and we're both earth mercs.
But tbh we don't have "conversations" much. Usually just random moments where we're in sync with each other's weird thought processes.
i'm cap merc and i am all over the place lol i'm just saying the ones that i can just go on and on with tend to be air mercs..maybe its not that placement ..
Me: Libra dominant Virgo merc, Him: Aqua dominant cap merc.
I think the air/earth combo makes for reciprocal weirdness. 😉

Yes intellectually stimulating conversations are very important in my particular group of friends. They definitely can get weird and convoluted as well.

That's exactly what I mean. Because intelligence is not the amount of knowledge you possess, but the capability to filter, analyze and use it in a proper way, regardless of the type of known intelligence, be it linguistic, mathematical, musical, spatial, emotional and so on. If you cannot process them, you can never develop them from nothing. The bran simply refuses to comprehend.
And I guess you see yourself as someone intelligent. Though i dont agree with what you are saying thats your opinion. Everyone in my opinion has a form of intelligence and are able to understand different things throw at them and process it in their own ways.. the brain is able to develop also. Just because the brain has a difficulty to comprehend something at first doesnt mean it will always be the case.

Mine is mercury in Gemini...moon in Aquarius , Venus in Gemini ! Oh my no wonder my Taurus sun is hidden so deeply with all those airly placements lol... his has mercury in Capricorn !

People with prominent air placements (especially Gemini and Aquarius) require the same type of stimulation that air suns do.I cannot get into someone who doesn't stimulate me mentally. It's literally impossible.

Like if someone is ignorant and don't care about questioning life, world, science etc..
Meanwhile someone elsse is improving their knowledge and want to connect with you and are open to learn and share their new perceptions about topics they gather informations from and want your opinion on it.
Honestly, I know I wouldn't be able to clique with someone who didn't care about expanding their knowledge.
In the end they would end up stifling my own thoughts and ideas. Also, I'd have no one to vent to or connect with on that level. Mental stimulation is at the absolute top of the list for me. I cannot be without it.

Exactly, I hate it when people are really close-minded and stuck in their ideas, not willing to listen to new ideas/possibilities. Even if they don't have anything to add, they should at least be willing to be open-minded and curious to learn about new things.
Only in the last year or so have I realized how important mental connection is for me...I had to find out the hard way too because the last guy I dated didn't really have much to say and even though the physical aspect was good I actually was so so bored on the inside.
