My Aquarius has strong Earth placements so that could be the reason for his stability and steadiness and proposal and getting us a home so quickly and staying home it was never any inconsistency. I believe his Mars was in Taurus and and Venus was in Capricorn so yeah now everything makes sense.
I never experienced and Airy or watery aquarius - maybe understanding his placements will help you understand his character a little better but do you really want to be with somebody that unstable? Oh I know? Perhaps you have Earth in your chart that stabilizes his airiness.

I do crave stability lol I'm understanding, but think consistency is an important factor and when he disappears my mind wanders into a hurtful place... Don't want it to, but seems to be exactly where I go. I see a long future, he has stated he does as well so give him the benefit of the doubt, even when the distance drives me crazy lol

I believe his Mars was in Taurus and and Venus was in Capricorn so yeah now everything makes sense.
I never experienced and Airy or watery aquarius - maybe understanding his placements will help you understand his character a little better but do you really want to be with somebody that unstable? Oh I know? Perhaps you have Earth in your chart that stabilizes his airiness.

I can't help it if my Aquarius knew what he wanted and it didn't take a year to figure it out! He purchased the promise ring on his own recognizance after 6 months of dating.
I see this promise ring as the exact opposite of settling. According to my Aquarius, the promise ring is saying " I value you so much I think you are so different than the rest of the women I want to give you a token of my commitment to this friendship and the process of getting to know you.
It is an amazing wonderful feeling for a man to be that into you that he's willing to spend money on a promise ring which is the same as a friendship ring stating that you're a very special friend who I want to get to know and hopefully replace this friendship ring with an engagement ring which is exactly what happened one year later.

when it comes to a man...i operate like AQUA.. i dont know...
me n the aqua had the conversation last night, i told him about my past n he says
* arhhhhh so as soon as a guy wants to commit to u, marry you, you run away... *
me --> * yes...thats me, i think thats my problem *
...then he went quiet... haha i dont think he will be stating he wants seriousness with me anytime soon coz i might run.. with me, i need to know, theres love and other critical factors thats needed for a successful long term happy relationship, as soon as any sign of dysfunctional.. i'm out the door... i learnt that through pain ova my last and many heart breaks... haha...

And some women just hold themselves at higher standards; for instance marriage is more prominent in higher Social economical classes because we've been conditioned and socialized to Value ourselves as a wife.

How ever you define exclusivity is between you and your man.
But for me words are not enough. In my experience when a man is serious about having an exclusive relationship he puts a ring on the finger and legalizes the relationship and demonstrates to his family and friends through the ceremony of marriage that this is the woman that he is vowing
exclusivity, commitment and Fidelity.
Now perhaps you don't need that and that works for you and yours and great?
But no if I am married which is what an exclusive relationship is for me I would not actively engage with other parties.

There's been times when I have called him on it, but I'm not the greatest when it comes to voicing my feelings. So, I either shut down and ignore him even after he contacts me, or I snap on him for what I perceive as ignoring me. At one point , I even accused him of seeing another woman. Like, I said...it seriously frustrates me and has me questioning our relationship every time he does this. It's like exactly as you described. When we are good and the communication is good I don't question a thing. But, when he gets quiet my mind goes hyperactive smh lol
