long distance relationship with aquarius male

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone is in a long distance relationship with an aquarius and if so how is it going. How do you guys make it work ..with their aloofness and space and all..etc etc...thank you!

Thank you, how old was this man..becuase I thought it takes forever for an aqua to talk marriage..see I think I will be in a relationship with this aqua boy next semester..you know they take their sweet time...and well we are both seniors in college..he is going to stay here in Indiana- for grad school..he is originally from chicago and I will go back to the east coast...I am not going to grad school here or jsut yet...and so I was wondering..we will be in a relationship by let say early next year..feb or so and I will be gone in may..but it will be built on a strong friendship....like I wonder..aquas usually would not put someone down jsut because they are going to be 700 miles away..I will fly in every 3 months or so....i know how they love their space and he will never cheat...he never even checks out other girls..i love so much about him......he has no idea..ok sorry for rambling ...wow I love this site

I am in one now, and you have to remember that you cannot have expecations with an aqua. They don't plan ahead like you do in regards to these types of things. I have some postings on "for anyone dating an aquarius man" on the dating & relationship boards if you want to take a look.

Your getting waaay ahead of yourself. I personally wouldnt get in a relationship knowing I would be gone in a few months. He'll probably keep it as is.

well, i did long distance with my aqua for 8 months...and even though he says he hated it, i honestly think it was the best time in our entire relationship of 4 1/2 yrs. it made our relationship MUCH stronger and it enabled us to appreciate one another more, while also allowing personal growth for ourselves. it was definitely a blessing in disguise.
i think for aquas, long distance is a good thing because they are such freedom lovers so it works out well for them. idk...like i said, my aqua couldn't stand it and it was much harder for him than it was for me. i thought he would have been ok with it, but he wasn't...or at least he says he wasn't. don't know if i believe that though since our relationship was the strongest it had ever been when we were doing long distance. and it was the only time when he truly appreciated having me in his life.

Ok you're getting in the standard mode of most women when they want to trap guys...take what he says at face value, he is a fixed sign, we are not, we can easily be swayed, they can't - he will take sex if offered - it will not mean much in most cases for the guys but for the gals, since you already like him so much, you'll prob get stung.

IME, Aries and Aqua's very very compatible - in the beginning...Aries likes the chase, that keeps you interested.
Aqua's a fixed sign and will eventually have one or two traditional demands from a relationship - that's when it all goes haywire. Aries is in need of CONSTANT novelty/adventure, Aqua will prob come for the ride, then eventually, settles into some sibling style fun relationship....with no time for the actual romantic relationship.

Compatible with most of the Aqua guys I've met - it's just too comfortable initially and eventually boring --- everytime 😕

Doesn't matter how compatible you are...I would personally let the friendship grow, get to know him and wipe out all thoughts of a romantic relationship for now, for all you know he may still have a thing for his ex.
