How do I get my Aries to dress better?

I’m not a designer ho or anything but do have a street style that fits my personality. Thrift for unique pieces and brands, buy quality basics, splurge on shoes and outerwear. Not into bags. My whole family is kinda known for style and while it’s nowhere a deal breaker, I like my partner to at least try.

Aries wears stretch, water resistant, tech fleece kind of shit. He’s a big guy. Wearing more structured clothing would create a nicer silhouette.

He says he doesn’t care about that… while simultaneously talks about having to keep up appearances for the people in his kid’s high end sports club. I’ve offered to style him on a budget and wow him. I show him stuff while online. He just laughs.

Do I need to drag him to a mall? I feel like I’m too old for this but my petty ass is petty.

He likes some stuff I show him but it goes no further.

I get he's not a shopper, it's easy to stick with what you know and what's comfortable.

I find style to reflect character and he's more than sweats and fleece.

My Aries dad was stylish. He had a specific tailor, an old guy who looked like he had a katana stashed underneath his sewing machine. His leather belt, clutch bag and shoes always matched. Collars always stiff and you can smell his Polo cologne a mile away. He even had mani and pedi appointments 2x a month 😂

That said, my Aries ex wore sweatpants and a weird ass beanie half the time I dated him. You can try to drag him to a mall if you want but I doubt his ego would let you style him.

The Aries men I've known dress nice. Aries dress well anyway, especially Victoria Beckham. Love her style . TBH, I would just buy him an outfit if he were my man to show him what I want to see him wear. I love to dress men.

The Aries men I know, where subtle high end stuff. They look homeless but if you look closely, you see a label here and there.

One Aries has such an emo look and I love it for his Caucasian self. He pulls it off but it’s usually a tank top from givenchy. Subtle

Another was also very low key. Never seen him dress up

And on the flip side you can tease him mercilessly about it. I love to harass my partners taste in Hawaiian floral shirts, kakis, and his Cuban hat. Bro you are looking like your coworkers who are 2 even 3xs your age 😅

I'm going to send pics of them in civilian clothes asking "this guy?" and plant some seeds. They take their uniforms off sometimes.

Accept him as he is. Everyone has their style . He is not you or your family. Now for occasions that require nicer dress, yes he should dress up.

My ex Aries’ wardrobe was mostly tshirts and jeans.

As mentioned in OP he thinks it’s funny. He’s made jokey comments asking if he’d look good in something ridiculous to make me laugh. He’s set a challenge for me to change his mind and I’m up for it. It’s fun. If I had a pretend pout over it, he’d probably like it

I was with an Aries that didn’t dress too well...old man pullovers, dodgy shoes etc. I never passed comment but did find out his mother had been choosing his clothes. As time went on he started to ask my opinion so I tactfully gave it 😃
