12th house and hidden enemies

Calling all 12th house people. I was doing some progressed chart work at Astrotheme and once again, I still have planets (The Sun and Venus) in my 12th house with their interpretation that my life is frequently upset by the machinations of hidden enemies. I think 12th house people have enough to deal with without this kind of inhibition.

I'd like to say it's all untrue but my life has been seriously sabotaged by people who I thought were trustworthy.

Have any of you gotten the "hidden enemies message when interpreting your 12th house? How do you deal with. It's hard for me because you want to fit in and trust people, but they give another reason to remain alone don't they?

I see you a lot posting about 12th house all the time.

is there something in your life that you are upset about? 12th house is about sacrifice.

there is no gain in 12th house. if you feel that you want to GAIN and get something out of life, that will be more upsetting to your 12th house.

there is a post /topic I read about Neptune at lindaland. and it explains a lot about how in any career, Neptune, is not cutthroat, and will never be. If you don't understand that about yourself, all this time in astrology, go read a lot of Pisces topics at pisces board too.

the only enemy is yourself.

I hope not. I've had unfortunate experiences with people but i figured it was life. I've experienced some betrayal and I don't trust but I just assumed it was life.

I don't even know how to trust people anymore. It is definately difficult for me as well and it is tiring. This is why I will prefer to isolate myself and stay away from people most of the time.

I hope I am talking sense?

You gotta trust yourself first, listen to yourself, make yourself happy first when with people and have strong boundaries.

I wish I could do that but I think maybe my purpose of life is to fix the broken one and then ends up being broken, myself. IDK

You dont got to wish, you are what you think you are nobody tells you what you want to be except for yourself. You are not born to fix anyone problems, you sound like a scapegoat of a narcisisstic family. Just remember no one is responsible for your own happiness except yourself so make yourself happy first and your decisions wisely.

but you don't understand, a person is HAPPY to serve.

if they don't serve, they will be UNHAPPY.

it is just how it is. they feel BLISS when they serve others. there is nothing to gain but the feeling of happiness, and you can't beat that.

i kind of agree with this, although not in the sense that I want to stalk people so I can pounce on them and heal them lol, but more in the sense that i believe that the best types of relationships are naturally healing and supportive, regardless of the type of relationship.

this way general connections are mutually healing (which works both ways), rather than destructive.

and yes, i do feel a sense of fulfilment and purpose if i have in some way helped someone through a difficult time in their life.

but we can all have self-destructive tendencies now and again, as human nature sways.

when i hear of hidden enemies, i think of emotional vampirism, which can often happen in the closest relationships. this is very 12th house in the sense that it tends to happen spiritually and often subconsciously and without negative intent. jealousy, for example, is one form of emotional vampirism.

and there are hidden enemies in many friendships, until the people in question learn all about themselves, their boundaries and how to set and keep them. and we all know about the connection between dissolution and the 12th house.

Greek 12th house sun merc venus here, but as i resonate more with my vedic 12th house aries moon i would give you the answer to the secret to the 12th house(count yourself lucky for those who read this).

12th house tells you the hidden power you have; the planet(how you should unlock), the sign(what you should do). e.g i have 12th house aries moon, i would have to be assertive/dominant/leadership(aries) when i am emotional/how i react (moon).

So i have a 12th house Scorpio moon and my north node is there - so the Scorpio is how I should relate to my emotions or express them? Would you mind explaining a bit more please?

I have 12th house sun and have many hidden enemies but they are all in the workplace. The more successful I become the more enemies I have, but most are more or less frenemies. I luckily have jupiter on my descendant (7th house) which means if I can snuff out the enemies into the open, it resolves.

They say that the 12th house is the house of undoing and you are blind to your own behavior patterns that bring this out in other people. As a 12th house sun and 8th house moon, I like to keep to myself which is great if you are among very independent "live and let live" types of people. If I am among nosey types or especially those who act like "if you have something to hide you are up to no-good." That is when trouble starts because the more a person pries the more secretive I become. This is a self feeding spiral that eventually makes the nosey person go mental. I recognize that if i were more open this type of thing would not happen but the 12th house and 8th too, likes its secrets even if there is nothing to hide.

Twelfth house mooner and I don't think I've had much issues with this. Mostly issues with obsessive and abusive guys. One of my scariest ex's had my emails being forwarded to his email somehow. Ewww which makes me a tad bit paranoid now but I mostly ignore it. Just weird scary close calls...

I've had obsessive men too.... like tracking my car kind of deals - which is very illegal btw - but yes crazy men. Not all, I've met some great guys but a few really scary ones. That's our 12th house moon bringing that around?

My best friends for over a decade backstabbed me and sabotaged me. I won't get into it but my God was it the ultimate betrayal. Also had a bunch of other "secret enemies" come out of the woodwork at that time.

It's funny how your secret enemies are all quiet when you're on top because they're insecure, weak and pathetic. But as soon as you start self-destructing, they start to speak up and to try and sabotage you because it becomes easier to prey on someone at a weak state then to try and deal with them when they're powerful.

Could never imagine having a 12th House Sun. Must be hard as hell.

that sounds awful. 😢 i have been through a similar thing, where i was going through a hard time and a hidden enemy took advantage. it was really hard, but in a sense i was somewhat equipped to deal with it because of my 12th house sun. Jupiter was going through that house at the time and my senses were so acute, which also helped, as difficult as that also was. the whole thing gave me the incentive to become strong again though, as i had to.

but pluto .. well i guess in a sense i'm glad that it will never go through my 12th house. but no doubt it will rampage through something else instead.

I agree with your disagreement. I totally don't understand what the 12th house is all about. Anyone who isn't 12th house dominant and tells others who are to embrace sacrifice doesn't really understand what being 12th house dominant feels like.

I don't get depressed if I do not "heal" other people. I don't feel this is my purpose in life. Nor is it what I want for myself. And I don't see what's wrong with this.

you always need to recharge and can't take a lot of energies outside as an example.

you get more (as an example) ENERGY by being alone or with people you trust, love.

It's Leo season and I have also a good Mercury aspect. So I'm looking at things with more positivity.

This morning I was thinking that Moon in Scorpio is in my 12th house where my Neptune is. Also It sextile my natal Pluto. So actually it should mean that I get power to lose myself for the benefit of others. self-dissolution is also a theme of the 12th house.

With this background I ran into two hitchhackers. I was already late for the work. But I took it positively and helped them. So I was 20-30 minutes later at work. But I was happy.

you probably "saved" them from someone who would be a sadistic serial killer.



although it would be safer if people didn't hitchhike these days. I think it's illegal to hitchhike in some places.

lisabethur8, I don't know enough about him. Astrotheme claims he had Chiron and Jupiter in Scorpio. Chiron in the 8th house. If you add Cappie Sun, Mercury and Mars to it, so.....

his mercury sits in 11th house though.

I think he lived a very good life, and married well too.

he kept his private life out of the spotlight, so you don't hear about him and Iman having scandals or anything like that. They kept to themselves and lived peacefully.

I'm sure in his early life, he lived wild and free, getting inspiration (12th house is also creative energy)

I don't know too much about his life either but it seemed stress free, as if he lived by the ocean and cozy-up with his wife.

Ah, but they're hidden enemies. So they are people you trust implicitly or people you don't even know. There's no real way to protect yourself against a hidden enemy, except by a protection spell perhaps, or one that will deflect any negativity back to the one sending it to you.

and I found that protection of spells only inhibit growth.



edit so when you are doing protection spells like those ladies on youtube offering spells to protect yourself....theres a good chance you aren't growing as a person.

but then again, there are some people who don't want to. so we have to allow them to be in their bubble. it makes them happy, so it's choice.

I have my sun, saturn and pluto in the 12th house.

Not many people trust me. However I will do my best to be trustworthy.

I feel like I sacrificed a lot for things, for people.

I feel bad when I perceive myself being selfish and not doing anything for them.

I also somehow perceive whatever bad happens to me is all my responsibility.

I believe I'm my own worst enemy. So I may or may not reveal much about my true self. Even to myself. Depending on inspirations, of course.

I depend a lot on my sagittarius and aquarius placements to live my daily life. So that I can detach and take things lightly. When I can't, I'd rather be alone. And just turn to complete darkness. No one should witness nor step into my space for the hell of it because it would not be a pretty sight for them.

I preserve my true self for myself.

I have probs to truly giving in to other people.

I notice some of you folks find yourself miserable and find it misery to be 12th house.

I don't find it miserable at all.

but I will be honest when I was younger I was in the depths of sorrow and pain.

you have the ability to get out of that because you are the last of the 12 signs, and from the 12thhouse

you 12th housers have the ability to TRANSCEND from there.

and it's this kind of connection to God. Even if you're NOT religious. You are spiritual.



I know that sounds hokey but we're on an astrology board, so if all those sites say the same things and your life has correlation to it, you're on the right path.

reading her life, I didn't realize how sorrowful her life can be, but she still has choices in life...

she has two alcoholic addictive brothers who are homeless...

do you allow your loved ones to rot somewhere out there? how do you feel that deeply for someone you love, and not feel bad?

I dont know that ive ever felt like ive had any enemies. Even hidden.

I do have problems feeling connected to others. I also am always scared that people view me as untrustworthy although I think im an extremely trustworthy person. Its an unfounded insecurity and I have no idea where it comes from.

IMO it will depend on the placement and aspects. People often look at the 12th house as something bad but its not, the 12th house is just like the others but things here are happening in a deeper unconscious level.

Venus or Jupiter still having a benefic effect here.

You should look at the planets there and the aspects so you could know what is happening without your perception.

Okay, I'm not like ladies offering spells on youtube. I create my own. 12th house placements may be difficult, but they are auspicious for successful magical / occult practices. I do believe in defense and have less trouble with "hidden" enemies or enemies of any kind since I pay attention to helping myself.

If you feel it inhibits growth, then you don't have to participate in these preventative techniques. It's up to the individual. Personally, I need less pain in my life.
