Maybe I exaggerated a little. Luckily, most of my friends in high school were gay/bi. Although really there are some people who are homophobic. Mostly the oldest generation (60+). The only disadvantages are that as a Christian you can't be that actively practicing your faith (considering gay/bi is a sin...) and you can't marry a woman. And you really shouldn't tell your grandparents about your sexual orientation.

The US isn't as open about polyamory as people think.
The Scandinavians tend to not bother much what life style you choose as long as it doesn't affect the general population. I have a couple of poly friends living in Finland and Sweden and they seem to be getting along fine there with that life style .

I consider all humans somewhat bi or gay by nature. Even if they deny it everyone is gay. There is absolutely no way I could ever date a male though, but I could find them attractive or get aroused by one. Assuming the atmosphere is right. I would but when a meme of Simon Cowell gets more likes than a user picture on a site where men are in different stages of desperation....it's beyond hilarious.
I'd give you a medal but I'm not on that US belief of everyone deserves a medal/award just for showing up.
