it can be something they were pissed off about and then let it go (i know what? let it go?) lol but honestly if it's not too astrocious and bad, they will let it go...but scorpio, water signs have long memories you see...
so when something comes up to make them remember, they're gonna hit it to ya and make you suffer for a bit.
then let it go...until the next opportunity arises.

Cancers are emotionally vengeful. So yeah, I'd say it's more intense. But ultimately it is less formulated and intelligent. My recent Cancer ex put some sort of poisoning in a man's drink because he physically harmed her child. Odds are it was traceable, and she only put enough to make him terribly sick. So it is indeed "holy hell". But not that smart.
Gemini, yes and no. When they actually build some form of resentment or snap. They can jump to do somethin they know will fuck you up at the snap of a finger. But if anything delays the execution or they are confronted with the reality of how fucked up it is, they will likely back off and release whatever resentment just as quick. If they do happen to actually do something, then they will almost always regret it after and not want to do it ever again.
