Same here. That's why I asked. I don't get angry that often but when I do it is ugly. I always blamed the Aries moon.
Funny thing is that a cool off really quick. Five minutes later I'm going about my day like nothing happened.

I never understood why people consider mars in cancer such a bad placement... literally every mars in cancer I've known have had a calming, comforting nature (well the women at least). It's the best cancer placement one could have. They're some of the chillest people to deal with whereas cancer sun and moons nearly always have aggressive or neurotic tendencies.

What frightened me with the Mars Aries is the way these people go ballistic. Like a Tasmanian devil. There's no stopping their anger or calming it or reasoning with it. You just have to get out of the way to save your own life in that moment. It can be that bad. Just off the charts anger.

I've spent a long time controlling it, strangely I now notice that rather than me getting angry and actively utilizing the opposition, I am meeting people who aspect my opposition and the mars-uranus acts through them, but towards me.

And people here are still confusing fearsome with with angry. OP still hasn't clarified if it's fearsome or angry she's looking for.
It can be a combo of both or 2 separate things.
I consider Scorpio Mars the most fearsome because the rage is not shown until the target has all but forgotten his own indiscretion.
Aries Mars will show rage straight up, without thought of future FURTHER planning. Which, to me, is a much better way of dealing with anger.
I have Cancer Mars, but being also Aries sun/Venus I can either show my anger straight away or choose to just let it go because in the long run it's not worth it (Cancer Mars pending guilt). Unless of course the offender continues to ride my bones and persists in poking the bear.
