So first, I told him I wanted to get to know him better and I hoped we can talk on a regular basis. He thanked me for letting him know, but no action. He just remained passive and waited for me to text him first. I texted him a few times a week and he always responded.
Then, I told him what my schedule is like and ask him to let me know when he's in town (he lives at least an hour and a half from me). He replied and told me that our schedules are very different but he's sure that we will be able to find time to hang out. But still, he did not make any attempt for us to hang out.
I feel I am pretty straightfoward towards him, no?

he also may just feel very under the spotlight with you being so active in... getting to know him.
to me it seems like you're scrutinising everything about him under all this attention. that's a lot to live up to.

to be noticed without me having to boast.

Then, I told him what my schedule is like and ask him to let me know when he's in town (he lives at least an hour and a half from me). He replied and told me that our schedules are very different but he's sure that we will be able to find time to hang out. But still, he did not make any attempt for us to hang out.
I feel I am pretty straightfoward towards him, no?

to me it seems like you're scrutinising everything about him under all this attention. that's a lot to live up to.

just back off a little. give him the chance to chase.
