Probably aqua and Leo of some sort.
I was surprised when I found out my Leo ex had at least 5 placements all in Leo. Sun/moon/mars/mercury/Venus
I never have to worry about aquas being petty if we don't talk for a while. We could literally go 10 years without talking and then pick up right off where we left off.
I'm not even going to start w/ what I love about Leo's, it would take too long.

In short though (bc it would be wayyyyyyy too long), Leo's are actually the most traditional out of the fire signs, so it's not that there aren't surprises with them (bc there are) but I'm not always having mini heart attacks with new ideas and things and this and that.
Leo's I've noticed give me the respect that I feel like I deserve. There has not been one other sign that I know of that holds true to this. They respect my critical nature of myself and my life. Although they tease me about it, it's always playful and they've never made me feel at fault for the way that I am.
My placements are pretty chill though so I guess they can sense that I won't really put them on blast about their faults, and they respect that about me. Just like how I truly respect their nature in a whole.
Lions are lazy (sometimes) yes, but they're charming and optimistic and they genuinely want you to be apart of their kingdom.
I've never been treated more like a queen then when I was with my Leo.
I know another Leo guy that I can joke around with and he's the only guy I know that can say "where are YOU going?" to me without it sounding too crude or demanding. Maybe it's because he says it with a little laugh.

Scorpio & Libra Sun: (Ive read something about how the neighbouring signs get each other something like that, cant remember- it was really cool statement tho) but it always too geniune and too friendly with these two signs, hard to turn it into anything other than pure friendship. overprotective of each other, we clearly see each other shortcomings (since all 3 signs analyze the shit out of everyone) and try to hate these shortcomings less lol, very understanding and make effort to see where the other is coming from. loyal af.
Aquarius Sun: my #1 pick would be sane Aquarius, the differences are there and getting with one means we got over ourselves and accepted each other fully. It's all about us growing together, no limitation-petty stuff. "blind trust" is the ultimate factor here. I love the facts that we get each other most annoying traits and are able to tease each other about them. loyalty and good intentions are there, type of people I'd love forever.

I have to peel Pisces men off me. Idk their other placements cause they never spark me enough to pull a chart lol.
Venusian moons. Lately more Taurus than libra. I have a Taurus moon that things ended with months ago but dude still pops up a few times a week to chat.
Actually since I've been single, with the exception of one cancer Moon, literally the only moon signs I've attracted have been Taurus, Leo and Libra. Which seems totally weird to me because taurus often is opposite all my Scorpio and Leo squares it, while libra moons normally square my cancer moon. Also probably about half the people I've dated have had Leo venus as well, which also makes no sense to me lol.
The only one out of all the people I dated that I felt like I could really fall in love with has been a Cancer Sun/Leo moon. Dunno Rising. That's a touch n' go situation though lol.
In the past, my biggest love was my Aqua Asc/Scorp Sun/Libra moon ex. We had a good run and I'll always have love for him in my heart, I think it wasn't meant to work now though, despite our near perfect synastry ha.
After him I fell for a Taurus/Scorp/Taurus, that was all bad news. I regret that totally. Felt way more attached to him and I think he used that for his own reasons, didn't really care for me and certainly never respected me.

your ex that you had a good run, sounds like my last ex....he was the only ex after the first two that was really healthy, no addictions, no problems, he loved me deeply and I will think of him fondly always to have a great love with someone wonderful. we just didn't have same love style s. he wanted to live together with no family and me wait on him hand and foot till old age, and I know he would love that forever. but I wanted marriage and security, the works.
don't know what happened to your ex and why it just didn't work but it's good you had some nice relationships with others who weren't toxic and cruel.
I hope he doesn't make the same mistakes with someone new. He deserves to be happy. He's a good man. At another level too, maybe with someone less needy than me. My cancer moon did always feel like it was imposing on his libra moon. I wanted more affection and displays of devotion than I think he was comfortable with, looking back.
if you want more displays of affection, definitely leo placements. I've seen my sister with her leo mars man and they do PDA, very affectionate openly.
I think I have read around here leo venus too. but I've never been with a leo venus man so I don't know how true that is.

Both had their moments. The Leo stellium crab especially if he got too drunk, would go on long romantic speeches. Be super cuddly, literally wrap around and cling to me. I don't trust drunk actions if they're not supported when one is sober though. Once he'd sober up he'd be more withdrawn and distant again.
Honestly, I wouldn't get bored. Cause cancer moon. And with all my Scorpio, intense passion is my baseline lol.
His pluto is in a very close square to all his Leo, so I was expecting some issues with restrained emotions. Never thought about it from just the straight fire moon perspective of being prideful.

There was a site that reviewed this pairing and said "this coupling is magical if Virgo goes for it at all". Which is true. He was so aggressive bless him, even after I was so uncertain with him. I slap myself sometimes when I think about if I had never let him take me out.

I'd like to say that all three of the guys I've been with (one I'm still with) did/do love me a lot. Two have strong scorpio placements. All three have water moons. All three are fixed suns. Those are the only similarities I've noticed.

i got realllly curious and pulled a few charts of past ex's.. they all had personal gemini and taurus placements. i never realized that until this last year. I think the sag/gem opposition definitely plays a role and i love the earthy bits as they help ground me and my virgo parts love that.
As for someone that would love me for me with my placements.. i have no clue . i'd love to say cancer but i think sometimes my energy can be a bit much for them, i'm extremelllly bouncy, however i understand their need for solitude and crab time. my husband likes the aqua sun but ONLY if the aqua sun has a lot of Capricorn/pisces. that's the consistent with my husband. he doesn't like too much aqua. I love astrology cause I can see the energies by what we love a lot!!! and why I made this topic too, why we love someone soooo DEEPLY and not as much as others, although they're ok, the deepest feelings we feel happiest with.
edit -- kind of like this aquarius sun gal, only one aqua placement and the rest earth and water..

Because they usually fall very fast and it is usually a platonic relationship like no flirting at all we mostly just have very deep conversation never anything romantic. I start picking up on their feels and back off because I don't want to lead them on. Not that I would rule them out for dating I just haven't found one that feels like a brother sister type relationship

Because they usually fall very fast and it is usually a platonic relationship like no flirting at all we mostly just have very deep conversation never anything romantic. I start picking up on their feels and back off because I don't want to lead them on. it's like he doesnt know what to do right now which is why we are stuck in this forever push and pull. Our communication style is off beat. He assume things and hold it in while i want him to trust me enough to talk to me about it. he slowly started sharing things with me but i can tell how hard it is for him. I honestly think that's why we couldn't make it work, the communication. I really thought that with time he would end up opening up more though, I was willing to take my time too if he didn't hurt me every time he went in his shell and left me hanging

We loved each other deeply - Virgo Sun/Cancer moon & Leo Sun, Pisces Moon. Deep connections. Both made me feel safe & loved but first set me free and second oh so complicated. We are friends now.

We loved each other deeply - Virgo Sun/Cancer moon & Leo Sun, Pisces Moon. Deep connections. Both made me feel safe & loved but first set me free and second oh so complicated. We are friends now.
I loved him deeply, um he I'm not sure. I think yes, but issues got in his way. 2nd ex husband. Aries Sun, Capricorn moon. Very difficult after he stopped drinking. He did not love me in a way I needed to be loved though & that makes it feel like he didn't, but I see signs that say otherwise (divorced 5 years, together 20). Still have contact due to kids together.
