The Luminaries by Eleanor Catton.

I was traveling for a few days and decided to pick it up. I've been wanting to read it since it won the Booker prize in 2013.

I love big, fat books. The more pages the better.

Suggestions? I don't know. Have you read Papillon by Henri Charriere? It's one of my favourite books.
It's been a while since I read a book, but I'll look into it. Thanks 🙂

I'm re-reading (last read it in high-school) "The Sun Also Rises" by Hemingway.
This might seem unrelated, but did you know Hemingway was a Cancer sun, Capricorn moon? The opposite of you! ?

Just felt like sharing. 🙂

Thank you! I had no idea. Makes me think a little differently about his writing style . Some of the subject matter is so dated, its like traveling back in time.
