^well, looks like we couldn't do anything for ya..thanks for coming in!
feel better creepy 🙂(call in sick..yes!)

thanks Chance..
and we all know i'd have to hand in my cap card if i call in sick lol

ironically, the only time i ever get sick is from working too much..did 39 days of probably 10 hour average once..never again!

funny you should mention that. years ago i worked at this company, won't say which, and they had this packaged plan going on where an employer, who doesn't call in sick once the entire year gets a 100 cash for xmas including xmas gift you get yearly from the company. PLUS extra 10% cash into their 401K or Registered Retirement SvgsPlan, IRA, ect when you sign up for it from the company. It was a huge incentive. this old guy had been working there for years, and claimed happily that he never called a day in sick. Me and and a gf colleague of mine saw him after we left that company at a big city event. He looked pale and white and ..poor guy. my gf said he looked like death. Then we referred to the incentive of money.

oh and each year, the 100 doubles to 200, 300...so you can imagine the incentive.

yeah, i did the 39 days in row because the money was so good and also, i didn't realize how tired i was until i stopped..but now i essentially work for myself and make my own schedule so having the freedom and flexibility is most important to me. as an aqua, i'm sure you understand 🙂. I know more than one person, my uncle included, with a goal of retiring early while not having lived..i agree with the subtle point that you made..doing that might even take time off your life and certainly make it less enjoyable.

well astrologers do say that aquas work smarter not harder. *shrug* I honestly had to work my ass off before, and i remember me and my colleague gf made a pact to try each year (on that company) to not call in sick. We made it one year and we were so happy, it was an accomplishment. then the next year, too many people were sick around us, and we kept encouraging eachother ...meanwhile our noses bled from blowing on tissues, eyes watery, medicine in our desks, cough syrup, making too much noises due to illness, and we kept thumbs upping eachother while dizzy with illness...yes! we shall make another year. boss forced us to go home and stop disrupting and making everyone else sick. we caught the terrible flu then.
my husband actually works smarter not harder though. part of his chart is uranus ruled i believe.

Moving on. Gave him one last chance, my hopes were dashed and my impression of him further driven into the dirt. Don't like feeling like I care more than the other person, I need balance or honesty. Looking back, it's not the fairytale relationship I thought it was anyways. Though he is a benevolent gentleman he's got way too much going on right now and apparently no room in it for me.

New guy (another Aries) must have seen my mom's post on fb saying I should date a cook instead of a musician. Told me to come over so he can cook me food. Took me to my favorite restaurant on my lunch break, last minute! Is more than willing to travel anywhere with me (crazy road trips ftw), get things done, the man has three jobs and still has time for me! And he compliments me daily. Bashfully. Nothing better than a "So what is your beautiful self up to?" text out of nowhere. Doesn't come on too hot or too cold, it's nice. Still wary after the last mishap, but he is comforting.

Bow out. Be considerate. CONTROL the infection. Don't spread the germs and get other people sick before the holidays.

i actually very very rarely have trouble sleeping. one night was a red eye flight. i didn't even bother trying to catch up on sleep afterwards. the following night was in fact an all nighter with my dancing shoes.

for the red eye, i'd taken a norco to try to knock me out. didn't work. the flight back, i took an ambien??_ still didn't work. and thats after over 2 days of no sleep. i can't sleep in coach.

i hate flying. hate

yea this is what i ended up doing. i can't be bothered to be on the strip or in a casino right now. i just want to be curled up in bed, with a good movie, hot scrumptious food, followed by a delicious dessert.

it's cold and windy. I feel sarcastic today and think it's because of lack of sleep. Hubby got us up super early. gone are the days of sleeping in and just sleeping for 2 entire days.

i have a capricorn guy friend who really really likes me, still married and in the process of divorce ??_using my shoulder to cry. not literally. but he texts a lot saying how rough his day is and how lonely he's feeling.

i can't decide yet if i'm being used for female attention or if he's really taking my advice.

my gut is telling me the former and not the latter. guess i'll know as soon as i find myself repeating the same words.

I so appreciate my Virgo sister.

She just told me tonight how her boss had a meeting and my Cap friend and his Aries wife were there. My Cap frien started talking about his birthday and how he was going to make me come, and his wife said "She's not coming....She is not your friend." My sister was offended that she said those things and said them in front of her. My sis came to my defense and explained to his wife that im not a people person and just shy and to myself in general. His wife was like "Im shy too" and my sister said "but you see how you walked in here and didnt speak to anybody and headed straight for the food....my sister wouldnt have done that." My sis explained more of my personality and the Aries understood it more. I just love how my sis speaks her mind so freely and get her entire point across without things excalating.

Anyway, I always felt the Aries was in my friends ear about me and that kind of confirmed it. He'd always call questioning our friendship, and it just seemed so random. I knew it was her. I plan on attending his birthday but Im sure ill feel a bit weird. I just dont gel too well with people that feel they can voice their opinions about you.
