Gosh I wonder why this site doesn't have a hair or cosmetics forum.

Well as the title says. Do anybody know of any good hair regrowth formula? I'm at that hair loss stage and to add insult to injury I'm receding 😭 at the hairline. I've tried every products you can imagine and nothing seems to work. Surgery is my last option. I'm tired spending money on expensive hair products that's not giving me no results. My bedroom dressers and bathroom cabinet is fully loaded with that stuff. Man I'll give anything to get my full head of hair back.

I am a big fan of henna, fenugreek and amla added to Jamaican black castor oil

I do have hair loss in my crown area and I’ve been working on it.

Moisturize the area with a leave in conditioner or water and apply

Diet of leafy greens help

And SWEATING… blood flow

But is Jamaican black castor oil any good for hairline and thinning hair? My common target area is to regrow hair back on the edge of my receding hairline and to dispose the bald spot in the middle of my head. I don't like the idea of having a widows peak even though I always had that but since my two sides hairline is receding the widows peak shows dramatically. My confidence ain't strong enough to let that show especially out in public which is one of the reasons why I keep my head covered at all times.

Castor oil with Argannoil. Works wonders.

I got castor oils already but I don't know if it got argannoil in it. In fact I just got thru applying castor oil on my hair. I'll have to go back to the bathroom and check to see if it contains argannoil. Is it really argannoil or argan oil?

Sorry. I meant Argan oil. My bro couldn’t grow facial hair and my sister in law made him this concoction of 50 per cent Castor oil and 50% argan oil, and it worked wonders.

There was a time I started washing my face with castor oil (this method is called oil cleansing) but lil did I know that castor stimulates hair growth and I started noticing that I was growing hair on my face in places where I normally don’t get hair.

Lol. So I immediately stopped using it.

Cut all caffeine and anything that produces anger, or filters minerals out of your body. Eat 1 raw egg yoke per day, nuts, banana, iron, and maybe Whale. Your hair will explode all over you.

Eh I don't know if I can cut caffeine out of my daily diet. That's part of my source of energy. I can remember the days when my hair used to grow back to it's long side everytime I chop some of it off and I used to consume lots of sugary foods and caffeine everyday. And it never used to take long to grow back at all. I might try the raw egg yoke thing since I practically eat my egg half cooked anyway but I may have to add some salt in it if that's okay.

What about beer? Does that play a major role in baldness? Cus I sure was drinking my ass up a storm last night and plan to drink up again today.

If it's just the front keep it short and get a good barber, which I'm sure you know one. If it's in the middle shave it off. As I've said before I have the Larry David hair style if I grow it out and most women don't care. Never met one with a bald fetish, some women love guys with longer hair pointless changing their mind. Big plus is there's probably more bald celebrities than ever before.

I don't know why this post made me laugh. I guess I haven't fully recovered from drinking too much. My hair comes down to the back of my neck just slightly shy of being shoulder length. It is thinning. Everytime I comb it big chunks of hair gets pulled right into the comb each and everytime. Tho my intentions of having long hair is not meant to impress the ladies. And no no barber shop for me. I never stepped foot in a barber shop in my life and not about to start now. I'm more liable to visit beauty salons and let those young girls fix me up first. I don't mind being their only man customer. I'm taking every measurements and going to every length to grow hair back on top. I truly miss giving the top of my head a self head massage by gently pulling the hair straight up. It feels good. That's one of the good things about having a full set of hair on your head. I can't do that with a bald spot.

Castor oil works but I'd advise against using pure castor oil. It's very thick, not easy to work with.

Like others have said, vitamin B7 supplements are great. They'll make your hair and nails grow quickly.

Gee the last thing I need is to grow nails. That shit grow faster than the speed of a cheetah. But I'll try the supplement thing anyway. I'm on my way now to see if I can find the ones in the pills form.

Look to lower your DHT levels.

Ok I had to Google this and it sound frightening. It just so happen my testosterone level does get pretty up there. I do masturbate quite often if I'm reading it right via Google.

Some folks have anicdotial reports of slowing down hairloss and increased hair thiccness by not jerking off... Either way the benifits of abstaining from it are really strong on your dopamine reward system, and general self discipline.

I'll try and finish watching this video when I squeeze in some all free time. The video is pretty lengthy. So far from what little I've watched seem like something for me to pay close attention to. Also it's hard for me to not masturbate especially after getting in that habit. I might need to see a specialist or take something for it. I do find it weird to wait till your lady is asleep or gone somewhere to masturbate which I often quite do. You know you need professional help if your hormones stay high all the time. Mines definitely not normal that's for sure.

Why did you bump a hair loss thread?

Ok. I saw this thread and I made post in it. I didn’t know there is hair loss thread and why not? Why are you questioning? Fuck!

Even females can get bald spots once they’re up there in age lol

Just get a hair transplant in turkey

If it worked - there would be no bald rich men!

It’s a BS! And of course female have.

My mom uses product from Spain.

But it doesn’t prevent men going bald.

Got to just grow balls and accept it.

Update:

OK it's been months now since I been using hair growth products and the only result I'm seeing is long stringy hairs getting back to that mid back length. It's not growing puffy like in an afro type style like I want it to. Im getting at that verge to give up on my appearance now. Mind yall this is just a quick update and rantin so I'm not looking for anymore inspirations (although I appreciate everyone's inspirations) nor am I looking for any feedbacks. I'm just gonna leave this here and at least hope any of you ones (if any) suffering from depression due to hair loss or graying read this and take better care of yourselves now while you're still young. That is all.

If you're male shave it off, there's no choice. Pay $ 1000s for a transplant in Turkey, pay $ 100s on demoximol and have a few strands go back and have them fall out again when you can't afford it or it runs out.

If anything more people had sex with me after shaving it off before when I had longer hair nobody wanted to know. Only met a handful of women who only see men with (long) hair. Most don't care.

You also save a fortune on shampoo because you hardly use any.

You right. Men hardly ever know how to take care of hair. And from what JJ saying - his seems like that funny dude with thin hair and comb over.

There are so many men who shaving it off and feeling free and handsomer than with funny bad hair. I just don’t like meeting a guy in hat and then he takes it off and I rather meet them as they are!

Don’t cover if you don’t have to.

My ex had a comb over! Amount of hair spray wasted! 🤦‍♀️

He looks good now when he shaved off even back hair skirt. I guess it just takes some enlightening as ‘whom am I kidding’ right?

I won't look good with a shaved head. I don't have the right facial structural for that. And what the hell is a comb over anyway? It doesn't sound like something I got.

Multi-Peptide from The Ordinary for growth

Castor Oil to make it look silky

That's exactly what got my hair silky now, castor oil. And that's exactly what I don't want. That's why I got all those castor oils and those other crazy oils just sitting around in the bathroom collecting dust.

I might look into that multi-peptide and that other stuff everybody else recommended. Might now, I don't know for sure. It's no guarantee.

Nah I never said I was any of those things. I lean more towards the attractive/feminine side and not manly looking at all. Or one could say I'm cute which tends to suit me better. And I'm not too many of you women cup of tea.

Unless you have some real technology to get the blood capillaries to grow back into where the hair follicle zone is, all you're really doing is wasting your money.

All the vitamins and minerals won't do jack shit unless you can restore blood flow to the hair roots. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Wow

If you want to keep spending money, go right ahead.

Naw I'm not planning on spending anymore money. This hair growth product I'm currently using right now will most likely be certainly the last hair growth product I buy. And it's just about empty.

Do you wear a hat when you're outside or cap at night?

Do you know the quality of your water when you shower?

What kind of shampoo do you use?

Do you comb your hair backward or forward?

Do you tie your hair and if so, do you tie it loosely or tightly?

It's not just hair product to keep your hair healthy, a lot of factors affect hair quality.

Yes I wear hats outdoors. Kangol and newsboy

Fresh clean quality water

Thick head anti thinning shampoo+conditioner

Backward

Sometimes I wrap my hair in a ponytail using a large elastic band. I only wrap it around just once and not twice to make it tight

-pH level matter with water and your hair (imagine your hair as if they're flowers, the quality of water affects its growth)

-Avoid dry scalp

-When you comb your hair, do it back to front and be gentle

-Avoid using ponytails/headbands (maybe try using hair clip? anything that doesn't pull on your hair so much)

If your hair is already fragile, the ones I mentioned above might help.

Maybe try out a more natural wash, instead of using shampoo. Shampoos, even the high quality ones, is different for everyone even if you have the same type of hair as someone in your household. Sure hair loss can be attributed to genetics or hormonal changes but there are certain things you can do to avoid/slow down hair loss.

Comb my hair back to front? I got long straight silky hair which flows wildly. I'm trying desperately to fill in spots on the top and sides. To put it better I'd like to have a full set of hair again. And yeah I have considered washing my hair naturally without shampoo. I'll try that next time. It's too late to start it now. I just finish shampooing it. And maybe perhaps I should probably just let my wild hair flow freely, huh?
