Oh that's brutal! So what is your favorite sandwich in that case?

Porto's...Grilled...Chicken...Sandwhich! lol along with their potatoe balls.

Oooo I forgot about that. The Cubano is BOMB too. That along with a guava smoothie is heaven.

ugh...i tried the cubano when they messed up my griiiileed chicken order....not a fan... and not a fan of guavas so thats out of the pic! lol

Cubano's are best made in PR or Cuba however you can find some good ones here. It's the way they make their own meats there that turns things up a notch.

I'm not a fan of guava - they put some sort of guava stuff on my siracha hummus that looks like I don't know but I scrape it off

Depends on if they have the meat available that day.

Pan con Bistec Cuban style .

Toasted Cuban bread with light spread of mayo. Lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil, salt/pepper, shoelace string potatos chips, a slab of steak, and grilled onions.

You had me at SLAB OF STEAK!

As a breakfast sandwich when it's a cheat day, I love the Monte Cristo.

It's usually cooked with buttered white bread, ham, some sort of white cheese (usually Swiss or provolone), and scrambled eggs. I replace ham with turkey though because I'm not a fan of the pork. It's orgasmic.

If I'm getting a sandwich for lunch, I get a "bootlegger" sandwich. It's not a sandwich that's sold everywhere, so sometimes you have to custom make it.

It comes with mayo, mustard, turkey, roast beef, provolone cheese, and whatever veggies you want.

Starting to get jealous of everyone's choices. These are both solid. The Monte Cristo is one of the best sandwiches in existence.

I trusted you! Made one and realized - nothing special!!! Maybe because I live in a city where we have killer sandwiches?

Or I made it wrong?

It's basically grilled cheese with ham dipped into an egg, right?

Pretty much, it's basically a sandwich made with French toast (without the cinnamon). You can also put egg inside of it, though that's not the traditional method. So if you're not a big fan of French toast, then this sandwich probably wouldn't be your thing.
