only with my sisters. I think it's people who are very close and who like the edgy aspect, so mostly siblings and coworkers who spend a long time together and have used up all the jokes.

It was more popular in the 80s because it was edgy, but nothing is edgy anymore these days

I think I was wrong that it's a class thing (that came from hearing that in trailer park culture, whoever's the meanest wins), rather it's an extrovert/left-brain thing

I use to flip off people often from varying levels of relationships to complete strangers.

I used to flip off bad/distracted drivers until I moved to a dangerous place where people are shot regularly in road rage.

Now I flip off more selectively, preferring to say fuck off or get fucked instead most times.

My cube at work does have a glass wall about 4 feet up onward and I will flip off my coworker if I look over and he’s looking at me, it’s just muscle memory at this point.

That scares me!!!! That is why I stopped flipping people off. You can’t have just a mutual flip off and angry waving of hands these days. People want to fucking shoot you and stop and fight irl. Reminds me of a guy I knew who had some tards playing chicken with him and his wife on the highway. It was all fun and games until the guy pulled out a .357 and unloaded it into the engine block of the tard car. True story.

I use to stop at signs that said "1 ton limit" and told my very best fat friend he had to get out. He always took the joke, and would pretend to get out, which we all found funny af. Kids these days truly don't know how to have fun anymore.

Back then fat people would just laugh and say "I'm fat and unhealthy because I chose to be, and I accept it." Nowadays it's "I'm fat, and should be accepted by society and not made fun of." Even though I take up 2 seats and weigh more then 4 average people, I should be appreciated and accepted. Fuck that. Put the damn fork down. Stop paying McDonald's $ 40 a day to help you kill yourself imo.

I don't know if I do it or not. I can never tell. And if i do flip people off its for a purpose. I don't have any friends. I don't feel close to people to be calling as friends. I do things alone and go places alone even dine out alone. Who needs friends to flip off when you got your own self to flip off.

I tried to sit next to a former coworker at a meeting and sat on half of her ass. it was quite an illuminating moment seeing firsthand the considerations obese people need to make in everyday life. I realize food is an addiction and a trauma response, I have tons of empathy for fat people now. but when I used to read "people who were SA'ed become obese to blend into the background and go unnoticed" I always thought, isn't that counterproductive? more body= more to see= more likely to be in the way.
