a gem in need of advice

OK so i met this guy last week. And it was weird cause we actually bumped into each other like twice a couple of hours apart. I was very much attracted to him, and we managed to exchange #'s the second time we saw each other. He called two days later but i missed it, so he called me back like a day or two later. We spoke and it went well, but we were both busy. He said he would call me back but haven't heard from him. I'm very much attracted to this guy and i want to get to know him. But idk if its the gem in me but i over think everything. I want to call him but at the same time i don't. Any gems experienced the same situation. What's your take guys?

i always hate this part of dating. when you don't know the guy very well, you wanna talk to him but you don't want to turn him off either. so, you just sit there and wait while driving yourself nuts analyzing whether to call or not.

i know you said he was busy, but, you could just call him. he'll pick up, or he'll let the answering machine/voicemail get it. either way, just let him know that you were just thinking about him and thought that you would give him a call. it will let him know that your interested in him and tell him that he's being thought of while he's not around. keep it short, brief and to the point.

I totally get what both of you are saying. The thing is i feel like i always do this.like I can never make that call. they always tell me that i never call.I guess I'm old fashion in that sense. At the same time They don't seem to like that either idk..... But i really like this he mentioned he was kind of shy. I don't believe him but i made ahead note of it.

I see both their points too like two sides to a coin...but then I'm a Libran!

But he did say that he would call back...so I'd be inclined to wait for, that remembering that guys aren't on our time...his calling back maybe a week away not like us girls that are waiting impatiently within hours, even minutes.

When he does call then let him hear that you are interested but yeah he needs to do a bit of work in getting you.
