What kind of anxiety? Like physiological anxiety attacks that come out of nowhere, or situational anxiety, like public speaking?

For the first kind, I had them due to some physical issues; had never had them before, and they came out of nowhere. Sitting at my desk at work, driving, sitting watching TV. I started taking a B Complex vitamin and high doses of Vitamin C and they went away. The Vit C worked wonders within 5 minutes.

Medication has done wonders for me.

But it's weird, it didn't work for me years ago when I was on them. Probably because I was smoking and snorting my brains out back then for the meds to have any effect.

But they're working now. I used to have awful, awful anxiety. It's still not great but compared to how it was... I feel blessed.
what kind of medication? when did you started it? how long did it take to work?

I took 1000mg of C 3x a day, or as soon as that internal "weirdness" started. No more than 3000 a day, although 3-4000 is OK. The B Complex I took 2x a day, now I only do once a day and don't take the C.

Hope it helps; attacks are insane, I literally thought I was going to have a heart attack.

It's hard sometimes. Sometimes i can't deal with it. I try to self soothe by being like, "no that wouldn't happen.. everything will be okay." And I keep a wine bottle around to maybe have a glass of that once in a while. My anxiety is paralyzing so I don't know if I'd be able to clean or keep myself busy.
....yes I understand ...when things get bad ...the most I can do ...is lay there and cry ... ๐Ÿ™‚

First things first-- I try to envision the absolute

worst thing that could happen... because that's

the 'real' fear, right?

Then I figure out how I think I would handle that

worst case scenario.

If it's vague stuff like omg what if life doesn't

turn out how want or omg what will people think,

you can't live like that.

Narrow that shit down and figure out what's

really scaring you because worrying never

furthers your cause-- it only works against you.

It doesn't hurt to do some physical activity, or

to *tell* someone what you're worried about.

Once you day something aloud and quit turning

it over and over in your mind half the power it

has is gone.

And treadmill = endorphins... natural high is

cathartic.
